Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (67th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (61st consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (48th consecutive day), Hebron, Ni'lin, Al-Mughayyir, Anza, Meithalun, Zawiya, Nablus, Yatta, Qalqilya, Beit Ula, Al-Yamun, Deir Sammit. During the day they raided Beita, Jinba, Aqabah, Rummanah, Rujeib, Beit Ummar, Al-Arroub refugee camp, al-Am'ari refugee camp, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Salem. At least 12 Palestinians were arrested, 3 of them minors.
‣ 22 persons were detained in Jinba, 17 of them later released.
Army attacks against Palestinians
1. Meithalun, south-east of Jenin – special force raids a house during the night. They fire and wound one of its inhabitants. Ambulance access is denied and the wounded person is arrested.
2. Beita, south of Nablus – teargas fired during the weekly protest procession. Later confrontations ensue. One person wounded by live fire.
3. Rummanah, south of Jenin – raid and confrontations.
4. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – confrontations. 2 persons wounded by live fire.
5. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – raid and confrontations.
Demolitions
1. Tulkarm – greenhouses destroyed in the wester part of town near the Separation Wall.
Colonist attacks against Palestinians
1. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – colonists with army back up raid the spring area.
2. Jinba, Masafer Yatta – an ongoing event continued on March 29th, but all reported here:
Colonists attack a shepherd and his son and wound them, including an attempt to steal sheep.
One of the colonists claims he was attacked, and later 13 colonists attack 6 villagers with clubs. They wound 5 of the villagers, one of them a critically wounded minor.
At noon, soldiers arrive, take out all the men of the community and arrest 22 of them based on the colonist’s claim. 17 released later on. On March 29th at dawn – over 100 soldiers and colonists holding hammers raid the village and vandalize property. Including food. After 5 hours of devastation and destruction, the forces and colonists retreat.
3. Farsiyeh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – colonists attack sheep and kill several sheep and a sheep-dog.
4. Khirbet Tana, east of Nablus – colonists attack people praying inside a prayer hall, the army fires teargas.
