Friday, March 7, 2025 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Nablus, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Azzun, Kharas, Huwara, Beita, Hebron. During the day they raided Qalandia checkpoint, Beita (continued), Silwad, Tubas, Surif, Sanur, Ya'bad, Tulkarm refugee camp and town (40th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (26th day consecutive day), Jenin refugee camp and town (46 consecutive day), Ni'lin, Shuqba, Beit Ummar, Al Fawwar refugee camp (again), Salem, Tuqu'a, Beit Fajjar, At least 8 Palestinians were arrested.

UNRWA’s General Comossioner Philip Lazarini stated that the refugee camps of Jenin, Nur Shams and Tulkarm have been almost entirely evacuated and their infrastructures destroyed. About 40’000 people have been forced out of their homes in the West Bank refugee camps and will probably not be able to return.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Nablus – raids of the Great Salahi, Al Satoun, Ajaj and Al Nassar Mosques in the Old City, the eastern area of the cemetery and Shaheed Square. Confrontations. Teargas.

Army auxiliary forces. Fire in Al Nassar Mosque. After it was put out, calls to hold prayers in the mosque.

2. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – raid. Confrontations. Released prisoner arrested. Live fire and teargas. One person wounded in the thigh by live fire is hospitalized.

3. Hebron – Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City with all its halls, yards and installations was not passed over to the Waqf Administration as is done every year on Ramadan Fridays. The army prevents people from coming in to pray.

4. Qalandia checkpoint. Jerusalem - journalists prevented from covering passage of Palestinians at the checkpoint.

5. Beita, south of Nablus – raid to suppress weekly protest procession.

6. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – raid.

7. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah - raid, confrontations. 2 persons wounded.

8. Jenin – siege of a house near Al Jalabouni Square. Military vehicle hits Palestinian car. A child is wounded. Arrests.

9. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – raid, confrontations.

10. Salem, east of Nablus – violent arrest.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Ras Al Ein, north of Jericho – dozens of armed colonists raided the community and stole hundreds of sheep. A Palestinian who owns part of the stolen flock was arrested on suspicion of stealing from the owner of the nearby illegal colonist outpost.

2. Huwara, south of Nablus – in the dark, colonists break open a “Huwara bypass road” after appropriating 800 dunams of the town’s land.
