Monday, December 9, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

General

Since noon, December 8th until noon, December 9, 2024:

‣ 50 killed and 84 wounded persons brought to hospitals;

‣ It is estimated that another 200-300 killed persons are strewn in the streets of the Northern Strip;

‣ Since October 7. 2023:

◦ 44,758 persons killed;

◦ 106,134 persons wounded.

A frightened girl who was displaced from the Northern Strip

‣ 3 Israeli soldiers killed, 18 wounded – 2 of them badly, by an anti-tank missile fired at a truck with explosives in Jabalia. The names of the killed soldiers:

◦ Omri Cohen, 19-years-old from Ashdod;

◦ Baral Daniel Halpern, 19-years-old from Kiryat Ono;

◦ Ido Zhino, 20-years-old from Yehud-Monosson.

Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp:

‣ Buildings exploded in the night;

‣ School bombed, killed and wounded persons.

2. Beit Lahia:

‣ Artillery fire;

‣ Massive bombings around Kamal Adwan, killed and wounded persons.

3. Beit Hanoun – family home bombed, 25 persons killed, including 8 children and 5 women.

4. Gaza City:

‣ Buildings exploded at night in Al Sabra;

‣ Machine-gun fire at Al Zeitoun;

‣ Aerial bombing of Al Rimal;

‣ Bombing of Sheikh Radwan, one person killed, others wounded.

1. Al Maghazi refugee camp – artillery fire, 3 persons killed (2 of them children).

2. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Bombing in the north-eastern part of camp;

‣ Shelling from the sea;

‣ Artillery fire from north-west’

‣ Artillery fire, wounded persons.

Southern Strip

1. Rafah:

‣ Night machine-gun fire at displaced persons tents in Al Mawasi;

‣ Aerial bombing of Al Jneina (east), one person killed;

‣ Bombing from the north;

‣ 11 bodies rescued from the rubble of yesterday’s bombings;

‣ Houses exploded in the eastern part.
