Sunday, September 6, 2026 – The West Bank

General

1. Schools opened across the West Bank on the first day of the school year.

2. The 75th day of the ban on the athan, the muezzin's call to prayer from the mosque minaret via loudspeakers, at Al Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron, on the grounds that the call disturbs Jewish worshipers at the Cave of the Patriarchs.

3. The government of Israel ordered the evacuation of between 15 and 20 outposts across the West Bank.

Raids and Arrests

‣ Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 602), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 596), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 582), Qusra (Day 28);

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Beita, Tuqu'a, Beit Awa, Qalqilya, Jericho, Tubas, Aqabah, Nablus. Daytime raids carried out in Ramin, Burqa, Huwara, Arraba, Al-Mughayyir, Beit Fajjar, Zababdeh, Sa'ir, Hajjah. At least 22 arrested.

Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem - Raid with stun grenade fire, some fired into the local mosque.

2. Jenin - A man of about 50 wounded by live fire in his hand and leg was transferred by the Red Crescent to the hospital.

3. Aqabah, north of Tubas - Raid at dawn on several homes. Reinforcements. Detentions, field interrogations and arrests. At least 10 residents were arrested. The town's education director announced that the opening of schools for classes is postponed until at least 9 a.m. Israeli military forces left the town at around 8 a.m. after vandalizing a kindergarten.

4. Ramin, east of Tulkarm - Raid at dawn with stun grenade fire.

5. Qalqilya - Night raid on several homes. Arrests.

6. Hajjah, east of Qalqilya - Raid by a military force and armed colonists, one resident was killed and several residents were wounded by live fire.

7. Ein Siniya checkpoint, north of Ramallah - Arrest of a journalist.

8. Nablus - Raid at dawn on the old city and the eastern neighborhoods.

9. Huwara, south of Nablus - Raid on the boys' high school and a demand to remove the flag of Palestine.

10. Burqa, north-west of Nablus - Raid on the local school.

Demolitions, Confiscations, and Blockades

1. Arraba, south of Jenin - Continued uprooting of olive trees just before the harvest season.

2. Aqabah, north of Tubas - Confiscation of a vehicle during a raid and field interrogations, and arrest of its owner.

Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Khallet al-Hummus, Masafer Yatta - Colonists grazed a herd of cows in a home's yard. Another group prevented maintenance crews from repairing the electricity grid.

2. Burka, east of Ramallah - Work to expand the outpost.

3. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah - Colonists broke through a road on private Palestinian land.

4. Between Usarin and Beita, south of Nablus - Destruction of electricity line infrastructure.

5. Jalud, south of Nablus - Expansion of the new outpost.

6. Awarta, south of Nablus - Destruction of electricity line infrastructure.
