Raids and Arrests
‣ Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 578), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 572), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 558).
‣ Overnight raids conducted in Qalqilya, Judeida, Bal'a, Illar, Al Maniya, Beit Fajjar, Seida, Al Shuyukh, Qaffin, Farkha, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Tarqumiyah, Dura, Salem, Aqraba, Bethlehem, and Qusra. Daytime raids carried out in Hizma, Burin, Tayasir, Idna, At-Tira, Awarta, Usarin, Ya'bad, and Al-Jiftlik. At least 25 arrested, including one minor.
Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians
1. Bethlehem – Night raid on homes.
2. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem – Clashes.
3. Jenin – Night siege of a home and arrest.
4. Illar, north of Tulkarm – Night raid on homes.
5. Qalqilya – Night raid on homes with live fire deployed. Four bereaved fathers arrested.
6. At-Tira, south-west of Ramallah – Raid with tear gas deployed, causing a fire to break out.
7. Usarin, south-east of Nablus – Clashes.
8. Awarta, south-east of Nablus – Clashes.
9. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – Fifth consecutive day that colonists have besieged a home from an outpost they established nearby. Following international pressure, the army declared its intention to act. A closure was imposed on the town, all businesses forced to close, as well as clinics. Residents of 15 homes were ordered to evacuate their houses.
The army evacuated the colonists' tents, but they remained in place. The expelled families returned to find the contents of their homes, which had been converted into military posts, vandalized and money stolen. Increased military presence.
10. Huwara, south of Nablus – Farmers expelled from their land.
11. Idna, west of Nablus – Live fire, stun grenades, and tear gas at the town entrance. Two residents arrested.
12. Burqa, north-west of Nablus – Night raid; a resident beaten and wounded.
Demolitions, Confiscations, and Blockades
1. Tayasir, east of Tubas – Continued bulldozer works and takeover of the village's land.
2. Al-Jiftlik, north of Jericho – Demolition of 20 seasonal shelter structures made of plastic and tin.
3. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – Installation of an iron gate on the road connecting to Rafat.
4. Burka, east of Ramallah – A tractor designated for waste removal confiscated and the crew detained.
Palestinian Attacks on Colonists
1. Kiryat Arba, Hebron – Stones thrown. Three soldiers and colonists wounded.
2. Huwara, south of Nablus – Stones thrown on the bypass road. A nine-year-old girl wounded.
Colonist Attacks on Palestinians
1. Al Maniya, south-east of Bethlehem – A home attacked, more than 100 head of sheep stolen, trees uprooted, and vehicles and solar panels vandalized. Army detains three household members.
2. Khirbet Samra, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – Provocative patrols.
3. Jenin – The Ganim colony, built on the city's land and evacuated in 2005, was reestablished.
4. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin – Colonists attack and spray pepper spray. A young woman and two men wounded.
5. Hebron – Attacks in the east of the city.
6. an-Nazla ash-Sharqiya, north of Tulkarm – Preparation for a new outpost.
7. Kafr Laqif, east of Qalqilya – Stones thrown at vehicles.
8. Ein Sinya, north of Ramallah – Olive trees set on fire.
9. Tayibe, east of Ramallah – Building materials stolen and a barbed-wire fence intended to prevent herds from entering the olive and almond groves vandalized.
10. Burka, east of Ramallah – Provocative patrol.
11. Jalud, south-east of Nablus – Still occupying the home of the family forcibly expelled about two weeks ago, under soldiers' protection.
12. Awarta, south-east of Nablus – As on almost every week, a night ascent to the "sacred" Al-Uzeir compound.
13. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – Continued siege and attack on a family home for a fifth consecutive day, despite the army's declaration that the colonists would be evacuated (see Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians above).
14. Huwara, south of Nablus – Colonists escorted by soldiers raid the clinic and confiscate Palestinian flags.
