Thursday, August 21, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

In the past 24 hours:

◦ 2 cases of death by starvation.

◦ 70 persons killed (18 of them aid seekers), 356 wounded (117 of them aid seekers);

Since March 18, 2025 – 10,646 persons killed, 45,073 wounded;

Since May 27, 2025 – 2,036 persons killed, 15,064 wounded, all aid seekers:

◦ So far, 271 persons died of starvation, 112 of them children.

Since October 7, 2023 – 61,192 persons killed, 157,114 wounded.

‣ Army Intelligence data show that 83% of the persons killed in the Gaza Strip were civilians. Research by Yuval Abraham in Local Call, (Hebrew).

‣ In 3 days, 250 aid trucks were allowed entry out of the 1,800 needed;

‣ In 25 days, 2,187 aid trucks were allowed entry out of the 15,000 needed. 15% of the needed number according to UN estimates.

‣ Today, too, attacks focused on Jabalia refugee camp and Jabalia Al Balad, Gaza City (south, south-east, north-west and west), Deir al-Balah (eastern part) and Khan Yunis.

Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

Jabalia refugee camp – booby-trapped robot exploded;

Jabalia Al Balad:

◦ Aerial bombing;

◦ Aerial bombing in the east;

◦ Houses exploded and destroyed, use of booby-trapped robot.

Nazla Jabalia:

◦ Aerial bombing;

◦ Bombing, 2 persons killed;

◦ Massive artillery fire.

2. Al Sudaniyeh:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers, 3 persons killed;

‣ Shelling from the sea.

Gaza City

1. West:

Sheikh Radwan:

◦ Aerial bombing, one person killed, wounded persons;

◦ Bombing in the east, 4 persons killed.

Al Shati refugee camp:

◦ Bombing, a child and his father killed;

◦ Another bombing, 5 persons killed including a girl.

2. East:

‣ Houses exploded and destroyed.

3. South:

‣ Bombing of Al Zeitoun near the mosque, killed and wounded persons;

Al Sabra:

◦ Aerial bombing near the clinic;

◦ Bombing, 8 persons killed including 4 children;

◦ Aerial bombing;

◦ Houses exploded and destroyed;

◦ Artillery fire in the south.

Central Strip

1. Deir al-Balah:

‣ Bombing of city center;

‣ Bombing in the eastern part of town, a displaced persons camp constituting a support center for orphans and wounded persons. 200 families have lost their tents;

‣ Artillery fire in the eastern part of town, a girl and her father wounded;

‣ House bombed in the eastern part of town.

2. Al-Musaddar – aerial bombing.

3. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers in Wadi Gaza, 3 persons killed;

‣ Another shooting at aid seekers in Wadi Gaza, 7 persons killed, 18 wounded.

Khan Yunis district

1. North:

‣ Aerial bombing, 5 persons killed;

‣ Aerial bombing.

2. South:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers, 2 persons killed.

3. Center:

‣ Aerial bombing.

Rafah district

1. Shots fired at aid seekers in the north-west, one person killed, 15 wounded.
