Protests

1. Sakhnin – the strike that began as a spontaneous initiative of merchants has widened to other sectors and became a general strike in town and in other localities such as Rahat, Umm al-Fahm and Shfar'am.

‣ In the afternoon, a massive protest march took place against crime, violence and authorities negligence (with an estimated 100,000 participants). At the end of the march, the High Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens of Israel called for the resumption of protests during the weekend.

‣ Representatives of the 4 Arab political parties signed an agreement to unite and run as a joint list in the next election.
