Killed

1. Sharif Mofek Hadid, 26, Daliyat al-Karmil.

2. Karem Suad, Shfar'am.

Protests and Collective Punishment

1. Bi'r al-Maksur - Demonstration in protest of crime increase and police incompetence and neglect. Tires were set on fire during the demonstration.

2. Jaffa – the light rail security guards violently and without cause expelled a disabled Jaffa resident.

Criminal Incidents

‣ 12 Palestinians were murdered during the first week of the year.

1. Daliyat al-Karmil - a 26-year-old man was shot and killed on Highway 6 near Binyamina by a soldier on leave, due to a dispute between drivers. The soldier and his brother who was with him in the car were arrested, and the police charge the soldier with suspicion of murder, threats, causing damage to a vehicle and concealing evidence. The soldier's brother is suspected of conspiracy to commit murder, threats, obstruction of justice and concealing evidence.

2. Dayr Hanna - a hand grenade thrown and gunshots fired at a business.

3. Nazareth – one person seriously injured in a shooting incident.

4. Shfar'am - a man in his 20s was kidnapped, and later on shot to death. The murder was recorded and distributed on social media.
