Tuesday, October 28, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

General

In the past 24 hours (as of noon, before evening and night attacks that cost many lives):

◦ 4 persons killed (2 of them bodies rescued from the rubble), 7 wounded.

Since October 11, 2025: (date of ceasefire agreement taking effect)

◦ 94 persons killed;

◦ 344 wounded;

◦ 474 bodies rescued from the rubble.

Since October 7, 2023 – 68,531 persons killed, 170,402 wounded.

General

1. The Palestinians claim that 2 captives’ bodies were rescued. The remains of the body returned last night is of a captive whose body has already returned and Israel claims this is a Hamas ploy.

2. The Palestinian Ministry of Communication reports 125 violations of the ceasefire agreement by Israel, of which 52 are shots fired at civilians, 9 entrances beyond the yellow line, 55 acts of shelling, 11 structure demolitions and 21 arrests.

3. 60 bodies of anonymous persons were buried in mass graves, unidentified.

4. Following the killing of an Israeli soldier (report below), Netanyahu declares a powerful attack in Gaza that has begun in the afternoon and continued past midnight.

From midnight until the afternoon:

Gaza City

1. Shots fired at the eastern part of town.

2. Houses exploded in the eastern part of town.

Central Strip

1. Artillery fire north-east of Nuseirat refugee camp.

Khan Yunis district

1. Machine-gun fire at the eastern part of town.

2. Tank fire around Ma’an, Jorat al Lut, Al Sheikh Nassar and the outskirts of Bani Suheila in the south-east. One person killed.

Rafah district

1. Artillery fire in the eastern part of town.

2. A contractor employed by the army demolishing houses in Rafah was killed by a Palestinian sniper in town:

◦ Efi (Jonah Efraim) Feldbaum, 37-years-old from Zayit Ra’anan (Neria) colony.


After the killing of the Israeli soldier:

Northern Strip

1. Bombing of Beit Lahia, 3 persons killed.

Gaza City

1. Bombing of Al Sabra, 4 persons killed, 9 wounded.

2. Bombings of Al Rimal, 5 persons killed, 6 wounded.

3. Tank fire at Shuja'iya.

4. Aerial bombings in the eastern part of town.

5. House bombed in Al Shati, 7 persons killed.

Central Strip

1. Bombing of Al Bureij refugee camp, 5 persons killed.

2. Bombing of Al Zawaida.

Khan Yunis

1. Bombing of Al Amal (north-west), 10 persons killed.

2. Bombing of Al Mawasi, 8 persons killed.
