Wednesday, April 9, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

General

In the past 24 hours – 36 persons killed, 41 wounded;

Since March 18, 2025 – 1,482 persons killed, 3,688 wounded;

Since October 7, 2023 – 50,846 persons killed, 115,729 wounded.

‣ The Palestinian Ministry of Health warms that 60,000 children are exposed to health issues due to malnutrition.

Northern Strip

1. Beit Hanoun – artillery fire in the night. Inhabitants collecting firewood were attacked later in the day.

2. Beit Lahia – heavy firing.

Gaza City

1. East:

‣ Artillery fire at dawn;

‣ Aerial attack near Baghdad Street, a house hit.

2. Shuja'iya:

‣ Attack at dawn, one person killed, several wounded;

‣ A house bombed near Tareq Bin Ziad at Al Muntar. 5 persons killed;

‣ House bombed, 35 persons killed, most of them women and children, and over 50 persons wounded. Dozens caught under the rubble;

‣ According to Palestinian sources, Hamas has caught 2 drones of the Israeli army.

3. Al Tuffah – a drone bombs a group of inhabitants. One person killed, several wounded.

Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ House bombed in the night; 2 persons killed – a father and his son – and several wounded;

‣ Artillery fire in the night in the western and eastern parts of camp;

‣ Drones attack south of Abu Srar roundabout in the camp, several wounded;

‣ A water tanker attacked, wounded persons.

2. Al-Musaddar – drone fire. A child wounded in the neck.

Khan Yunis district

1. Khan Yunis city:

‣ Aerial attack in the western part of town. 2 persons killed – an elderly person and a woman – and several wounded;

‣ Aerial attack in the northern part of town;

‣ Aerial attack in the southern part of town in the night;

‣ Al Amal neighborhood – aerial attack;

‣ Displaced persons encampment attack soiuth of Al Atar Junction. 3 persons killed, including a woman and a girl, and several wounded.

2. Al Mawasi – drone attack of displaced persons encampment. A woman killed, others wounded.

3. Al Salam, south of Khan Yunis – aerial attack.

4. Qizan an Najjar, south of Khan Yunis – aerial attack. One person killed, several wounded.

5. Khuza'a – drones bomb, 2 persons wounded.

6. Al Fukhari, east of Khan Yunis – shots fired at school sheltering displaced persons.

7. Abasan Al Kabira – artillery fire in the afternoon. Another round in the evening.

Rafah district

1. North:

‣ House demolitions;

‣ Heavy artillery fire during the night and day;

‣ Aerial attack and artillery fire at Al Nassar.

2. West – helicopter fire.

3. Mirage, north of the town – artillery fire.
