Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (222nd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (216th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (203rd consecutive day), Nablus, Al Ein refugee camp, Usarin, Burqa, Tubas, Salem. During the day, they raided Hebron, Bani Na'im, Jerusalem, Surif, ad-Dhahiriya, Illar, Seida, Nabi Ilyas, Beit Fajjar, Tammun, Shuafat refugee camp, Beita, Qusra, Ramallah, Beit Furik, Qaryut. At least 20 Palestinians were arrested, including a journalist. 10 of them are from Surif.

Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem – raid, a house taken over and turned into an army post.

2. Barta'a Checkpoint, south-west of Jenin – the Red Crescent reports evacuation of a young man hit by shots fired by Israeli soldiers at the checkpoint.

3. Hebron – morning raid and arrests. A military vehicle hits a transport minibus.

4. Surif, north of Hebron – dawn raid, arrests. Ten persons arrested.

5. ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron – dawn raid, arrests.

6. Jerusalem, Al Touri neighborhood – raid of a prisoner’s home, attack of his family, cash confiscated with the excuse that these are salaries of the Palestinian Authority, his father summoned for interrogation.

7. Ramallah – arrest conducted by special force in the afternoon.

8. Nablus – night raid of Al Moustafa Mosque in the western part of town. Auxiliaries in the morning while reinforcing raids in Al Ein refugee camp. Army vehicle hit local vehicle, a girl wounded.

9. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – confrontations.

10. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – raid and confrontations. Rubber-coated steel pellets fired, one person wounded.

11. Beita, south of Nablus – raid, confrontations.

12. Al Ein refugee camp, west of Nablus – raid by special forces, auxiliaries in the morning. Arrests.

Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Sinjil, north of Ramallah – new colonist outpost.

2. Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah – colonists with bulldozers destroy tended fields.

3. Ein Yabrud, north-west of Ramallah – continued destruction of village land in order to expand nearby colonies.
