Islam Abu Shamla, 14, was here, and not anymore. Killed by gunfire targeting tents sheltering displaced people, together with her brother Abdullah (29), who had raised her since their mother was killed in 2014. Their sister Lana was seriously injured. Mohannad, another brother, was murdered by gunfire at one of the food distribution centers in 2025. Their brother Siraj was left alone.
