Monday, January 20, 2025 – The Gaza Strip
General
‣ During the past 24 hours, 122 persons were killed and registered, 58 of them bodies rescued, and 341 persons wounded;
‣ Since October 7 2023:
◦ 47.035 persons killed, of these – 17,581 children, 12,048 women;
◦ 111,091 persons wounded.
‣ Over 630 aid trucks entered the Gaza Strip, 300 of them to the Northern part.
‣ Inhabitants return north, parts of bodies – unidentifiable – are rescued from the rubble;
‣ A bit after midnight, 90 prisoners and detainees of both sexes from the West Bank were released, in the first part of the first phase. Detailed in the West Bank page.
Southern Strip
1. Khan Yunis – machine-gub fire at Al Fukhari, Khuza'a, Ghabsan from east of town.
2. Rafah:
‣ Sniper fire at Al Awda Square. 8 persons wounded, a child killed. The snipers fired at anyone trying to rescue him;
‣ Child killed and 3 wounded in explosion of Israeli military ammunition left on the ground;
‣ Drone drops a bomb at city center, wounded persons.
