17 years-old, from Kafr Dan (west of Jenin).

Design: Lahav Halevy

The one who earned the dubious honor of being the first killed in 2023. The eldest son of a family of 5 children. Dropped out of school during the 10th grade, to join his father and operate bulldozers as an earthworks contractor.

That day he returned from work at 6 pm, ate a light meal, and at 9 pm he got ready to go to the gym. He made sure to exercise every day. On his way to the family car, his mother asked him to buy milk substitute for his 8-month-old sister on the way back, and he promised.

At the same time, the army raided the village, accompanied by bulldozers, to demolish the houses of those who were killed last September, during an exchange of fire with a military unit. An Israeli army officer was also killed in that incident. Clashes ensued, including exchange of gunfire, throwing stones and fire bombs.

Fouad tried to return home and ran into barriers. He left the car and joined the clashes, apparently to throw stones. At 22:40 a sniper, who was located on the second floor of the house next door, shot him. 6 bullets.
