Israelis killed
1. 1,162 Israelis were killed on October 7, 2023, including 38 minors, one of them under the age of one year.

Palestinians wounded
1. Since October 7, 2023 – 147,743 Palestinian wounded, 9,218 of them aid seekers.

3. Over 10,000 badly wounded and ill Palestinians are waiting to be evacuated.
◦ Since March 2, 2025, only 875 wounded or ill Palestinians and 611 accompaniers have been evacuated.

◦ Over 15,000 Palestinians suffer wounded limbs (over 4,700 amputees, 940 of them children);

◦ 25% of the wounded Palestinians need lengthy rehabilitation, but the rehabilitation centers hardly function.
Israelis wounded
1. On October 7, 2023, 5,400 Israelis were reported wounded.
2. Since October 7, 2023, 2,864 Israeli male and female soldiers were wounded.
Palestinian hostages and prisoners
‣ Israel does not provide data.
1. Since October 7, 2023, there were an estimated 10,000-12,000 Gazan Palestinians incarcerated (about 5,000 of them in Israel for work purposes).
◦ At least 3,500 of them are still in Israeli military detention facilities;
◦ 44 of them have died during their stay in prison.
2. Released Palestinians report physical and sexual abuse, intentional starvation, humiliation, medical neglect and torture.
Israeli kidnapped hostages
1. On October 7, 2023 – 251 Israelis were taken hostage, of whom:

Destruction and displacement
1. Destruction:
◦ 92% residences have been either totally or significantly destroyed;
◦ 88.8% educational establishments have been either totally or significantly destroyed;
◦ 89% water and sanitation facilities have been either totally or significantly destroyed;
◦ 95% of the farmland are no longer tendable;
◦ 71% of the greenhouses have been either totally or significantly destroyed;
◦ 72% of the fishing fleet have been either totally or significantly destroyed.
2. Displaced persons:
‣ The area of the Gaza Strip is 365 sq.km. It was inhabited by 2.1 million persons, of these about 1 million children.
◦ 90% of the inhabitants have been displaced at least6 once;
◦ 87.3% of the Strip is defined as either a military zone or under evacuation orders;
◦ 2.1 million persons are required to crowd inside 12% of the Strip’s area which are also under attack;
◦ Over 650,000 children have had no educational framework since October 7, 2023.
Health system crisis
‣ For details, please look up The Physicians for Human Rights report publicized on July 28, 2025.
1. Destruction:
◦ Out of 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip, 33 have been significantly hit, 18 function partially;
◦ Out of 16 field hospitals, 10 are partly functional;
◦ Out of 170 clinics, 60 are partly functional, one fully functional.
2. Medication and function:
◦ Severe lack of vital medication and baby formula, 6 aid trucks with medical supplies entered the Strip on July 26, 2025;
◦ The beds occupied in hospital amount to 240-300%;
◦ One half of persons from kidney dysfunction have died due to the lack of sufficient dialysis services;
◦ There is no treatment of cancer patients.

3. Attacks against medical teams:
◦ Local Call new website exposes the use of the “double tap” system – harm to teams or prevention of access of rescuers and paramedics immediately after a bombing (Hebrew).
◦ 1,921 cases of attacks against the health system.
Starvation
1. As of August 4, 2025, 180 persons have died of starvation and dehydration, including 93 children. Over one-half of them died in recent weeks.
◦ One of every 5 children suffers severe malnutrition;
◦ 16.5% of children between the ages of 6 months and five years suffer severe malnutrition;
◦ 39% of the Gaza Strip inhabitants do not eat for days on end;
◦ 81% of the families suffer a lack of food (versus 33% in April 2025);
◦ 24% of the families report dire malnutrition (versus 4% in April, 2025);
◦ 90% of the families have switched to emergency food consumption including risks while obtaining and consuming food from garbage;
◦ 96% of the families have reported moderate and high levels of water shortage;
◦ A widespread hit of desalination plants and pollution of ground water injure the chances of drinking sweet, unpolluted water, thus extending chance to contract intestinal disease.
2. Since May 27, 2025, when Israel declared opening aid hubs run by GHF private firm, pushing out the UN aid organizations, 11,489 aid seekers have been hit by the Israeli army or guards of the private firm, of whom:

3. On July 27, 2025, Israel declared several moves:
‣ A 10-hours tactical pause in order to let in humanitarian aid, parachuting food and opening humanitarian corridors to bring in UN aid trucks.
‣ In actual fact:
◦ According to the UN, the Gaza Strip needs 600-800 aid trucks a day to supply its most basic needs. The maximal number let in has been 200 trucks a day;
◦ Some of the trucks were looted, and aid seekers fight among themselves over every package, at times costing lives;
◦ 90% of the aid packages parachuted fell in areas controlled by the Israeli army, some hitting tents and wounding inhabitants.
