Palestinians killed
‣ 39,550 bodies registered in hospitals, not including whoever are buried under the rubble or buried in mass graves, or not buried at all.
◦ Of these, only part of the bodies have been identified - 9,369 children, out of about 16,314 children’s bodies brought to hospital and registered;
‣ 39 cases of death due to malnutrition and dehydration;
‣ 42 Palestinian detainees from Gaza who died in custody;
‣ 500 members of medical teams killed out of the 20,000 present in the Gaza Strip;
‣ 165 journalists;
‣ 79 members of rescue teams.
Israelis killed
‣ 1,529 Israelis and foreign nationals killed since October 7th, 36 of them minors;
‣ 329 soldiers since the beginning of ground warfare;
‣ 41 bodies held hostage.
Wounded and ill Palestinians
‣ 91,280 wounded persons;
‣ 12,000 ill persons awaiting evacuation, 85 (35 of them children) evacuated from the Gaza Strip. [The second evacuation since May 2024 when Rafah Crossing was closed, and the largest since October 7th;]**
‣ 1,000,000 reported cases (in clinics and displaced persons camps) of severe respiratory infections;
‣ 577,000 cases of severe diarrhea;
‣ 107,000 cases of severe hepatitis, 40,000 of them Hepatitis A. The present reported pace is 800-1,000 new cases every day;

‣ 65,368 cases of other skin diseases;
‣ 11,000 cases of chicken pox;
‣ Great fear of polio epidemic.
Wounded Israelis
‣ On October 7th, 5,000 wounded persons reported;
‣ Since October 7th, 2,176 soldiers wounded.
Palestinians detained
‣ Number unknown. Present estimate stands at 4,000;
‣ Among the persons detained, 310 medical team members known;
‣ On October 7th, about 10,000 Palestinian workers and ill patients were in Israel. All of them were detained;
‣ 3,200 were released, 6,441 transferred to the West Bank, 1,000 missing;
‣ Israel does not enable the International Red Cross access to detainees. Information about the conditions of their incarceration originates from testimonies of those released, soldiers and physicians, and the visit of an attorney on behalf of the Administration of Detainee matters;
‣ Detainees attest to being sexually assaulted (one case publicized including the perpetrators, 9 reserves soldiers who were arrested), torture including electrification, water boarding, static difficult and dangerous positions for hours, starvation, faulty attention to wounds. 42 detainees have died so far.

Israeli hostages
‣ On October 7, 2023, about 250 Israelis and foreign nationals were taken hostage, 36 of them minors;
‣ 115 are still held hostage, of them 41 are known to be dead;
‣ Some of the released hostages attest to having been victim to physical, emotional and sexual abuse;
‣ The Red Cross has not visited the hostages.
Education
‣ 39,000 high school students have not attended their final examinations;
‣ 630,000 students are without any study framework, 10,000 of them are assumed to be killed;
‣ 88,000 students without any study framework;
‣ 400 teachers killed;
‣ 286 out of 307 schoolhouses have been totally destroyed;
‣ 31 university buildings have been totally destroyed.

Demolitions and displaced persons
‣ There are at present 1.9 million displaced persons;
‣ In Israel, there 120,000 persons displaced in the north and south of the country.
Water
‣ On July 27th, soldiers filmed themselves blowing up the water works (3 pumps) in Western Rafah - that serve 15,000 permanent residents and another hundreds of thousands of displaced persons. The action was not legitimized by the senior military echelons;
‣ According to the UN, the daily average water allocation per capita is 2-9 liters. Its recommended average allocation in times of emergency is at least 15 liters per capita;
The Gaza Municipality announced that 80% of its pumping equipment and machines have been destroyed, there is no waste collection, no sanitation and sewage is overflowing, and a serious lack of clean water.
Hospitals
‣ According to Medecins Sans Frontieres (Physicians without Borders), there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip. They emphasize the collapse of the two hospitals still functioning nearly in full - Al Aqsa at Deir Al Balah, and Al Nasser in Khan Yunis;
‣ The multiplicity of bombings in the Central Strip and rise in the number of wounded per event have flooded the Deir Al Balah hospital and with a 220-bed capacity they are now treating 600 patients;
‣ The Khan Yunis hospital suffers a severe lack of equipment and blood (many Gazans are unsuitable for blood donation due to malnutrition and health conditions).
Aid delegations
‣ Daily average of aid trucks crossing in July - 71 trucks, a reduction of 42% since April 2024;
‣ Inside the Gaza Strip, of the 150 delegations coordinated in the north - 67 have actually arrived;
‣ South of Gaza Wadi (Central and Southern Strip), of 368 delegations - 250 have actually arrived.
