Data, October 7, 2023 – September 28, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 41,595 persons (bodies registered in hospitals), only part of which were identified;

‣ Of these:

◦ 16,795 children (11,000 of them schoolchildren);

◦ 11,378 women.

‣ In 2-8 of every 10 bodies deformations were found (such as dismemberment).

‣ 1,546 persons, most of them on October 7, 2023, or immediately thereafter.

‣ 346 of those killed were soldiers killed in ground warfare.

‣ 96,251 persons wounded.

‣ On October 7, 2023, about 5,400 persons were reported wounded;

‣ In the ground warfare, so far 2,297 soldiers were wounded.

‣ 101 live and dead hostages are held by the Hamas.

‣ 183 refugee centers have been directly targeted;

‣ Israel has issued 55 evacuation orders for 85% of the Gaza Strip;

‣ 169,000 structures have been demolished;

‣ 60% of all mosques;

‣ 85% of all schools;

‣ 68% of all farmland.

‣ 1.9 million displaced persons;

‣ In surveyed samples of two displaced persons centers, crowding conditions appeared to be:

◦ 80-100 persons in one classroom;

◦ 40 persons in one tent.

‣ 90% of the coordinated aid delegations were either rejected or delayed;

‣ Concern mounts in expectations of the winter floodings, combined with a destroyed drainage system, intense crowding, and the fear of epidemics.
