The American-Israeli attack on Iran, 3rd consecutive day of the ceasefire

General

1. The ambassadors of Israel and Lebanon in the United States held a phone call in preparation for talks on a ceasefire, amid reports of a tense conversation on the Lebanon ceasefire between Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. At the end of the call, Lebanon announced that a first meeting in direct negotiations and a ceasefire under U.S. mediation will take place next Tuesday. Israel, for its part, stated it is not prepared to discuss a ceasefire with Hezbollah.


Iran

3rd day of the two-week ceasefire period mediated by Pakistan. Iran is exerting heavy pressure and threatens to cut off the ceasefire with the U.S. and Israel if a ceasefire is not also declared in Lebanon. According to the Iranian parliament speaker, two conditions for maintaining the ceasefire have not yet been met: a ceasefire in Lebanon and the release of Iran’s frozen assets. Later it was reported that Iran’s delegation for negotiations with the U.S. arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, ahead of talks set to begin tomorrow, Saturday.


Israel

Approximately 50 launches fired from Lebanon since the morning. The Home Front Command announced no change in safety instructions, which remain in effect for at least one more day.


1. Events:

◦ Impacts and interception debris in Haifa, Avivim, Ya'ara, Dovev, Ghajar, Margaliot and the Krayot. Direct hits in a parking lot in Safed, a house in Misgav Am, a school in Dayr al-Asad and in Naharia. Power outages in Metula (fire in a packing house) and Kiryat Shmona (fire in an apartment, no siren activated) following damage to a power line.

2. Casualties:

◦ No casualties reported in the past 24 hours.


Lebanon

40th consecutive day of the war in Lebanon. More than one million Lebanese have been displaced from south of the Litani and forced northward. The Israeli army continues strikes despite the decision to reduce military activity in Lebanon. The Israeli government instructed the army to obtain approval before any potential strike in Beirut, in light of expected negotiations in the coming days. Two Israeli soldiers were injured as a result of an explosive drone strike. The Lebanese president called on the international community to act to stop Israeli army attacks.

◦ Airstrikes in Baisariyeh, Hanouiyeh, Sultaniyeh, Jouaiyya, Majdal, Chehabiyeh, Dibbine, Sohmor (2 killed, others injured), Jbaa, Beit Yahoun, Douris, Nabatieh (13 security personnel killed), Mazraat Kfar Jouz and others.

◦ Artillery fire on Haris, Rmaych, Al Mansouri, Qlaileh, Ras El Ain, Ebel El Saqi (press crews hit) and others.


◦ Vehicle strikes in Tebnine (municipal council member killed, his son injured), Deir Qanoun (ambulance), Aadchit (Islamic Health Authority ambulance, injuries).

◦ House demolitions in Ayta ash Shab.

2. Casualties:

◦ Since March 2, 2026:

- 1,953 killed and 6,303 injured.
