Killed

1. Yaaman ‘Asfur, 22-years-old from Arraba, shot on January 17, 2024, died of his wounds today.

2. Ibrahim Al Khateeb, 20-years-old from Beit Ummar.


Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Al Khader, Sa’ir, Burqa, Sebastia, as-Samu, Azzun, Beit Ummar, Kafr Malik, Salem, Dura, Beit Kahil, Nablus, Qaffin. During the day they raided the Dheisheh refugee camp, Beit Jala, Beit Sahour, Bethlehem, Kafr Qaddum, Beita, Beit Ummar (for the second time), Salem (for the second time), Issawiya, Urif. 7 Palestinians were arrested, one of them was beaten up during his arrest.


Huwara


Clashes

1. Sa'ir, north-east of Hebron - night raid and confrontations.

2. Al Khader, south of Bethlehem - night raid using stun grenades.

3. Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem - raid using teargas, confrontations. No casualties or arrests.

4. Beita, south of Nablus - during the weekly demonstration protesting land robbery at Jabal Sabih and legitimization of Eviatar colonist outpost, the army attacked protesters with teargas, stun grenades and live fire. Suffocations. A journalist hit in the head by a teargas canister.

5. Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya - confrontations during weekly demonstration protesting land robbery and the permanent blocking of the main road.

6. Salem, east of Nablus - confrontations during the raid.

7. Beit Ummar - night raid, confrontations. A resident was shot in the head and later died of his wounds.


Attacks against the army

1. Awarta Checkpoint, south of Nablus - shots fired at the checkpoint.


Confiscations

1. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah - tractor confiscated while at work.


Attacks against colonists

1. Al Auja, north of Jericho - stones thrown at a bus.


Colonist attacks


Burin and Huwara


1. Awarta, south of Nablus - colonists attack houses at night.

2. Huwara, south of Nablus - in the morning stones are thrown at vehicles near Yitzhar colony.



At noontime, town attacked with live fire, setting places on fire, attacks of vehicles and ambulance, all backed up by the army. 2 colonists were arrested for attacking… the army.



3. Burin, south of Nablus - fields ignited.



4. Khirbet Karma, south of Hebron - colonists attack houses, vandalize property and vehicles.

5. Khallet ad-Daba'a, Masafer Yatta - colonists attack houses.

6. Shab Al Butm, Masafer Yatta - colonists accompanied by a soldier (later revealed as one of the colonists, infamous for his violent attacks) attack a family with metal rods. Wound a 55-year-old woman (fractured skull) and a man (lesions and fractures).

The colonist-soldier points his weapon and fires at Palestinians pushing off the colonists. No one was arrested.
