Monday, December 30, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

Since noon, December 29th until noon, December 30, 2024:

‣ 27 killed and 149 wounded persons brought to hospitals;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 45,541 persons killed;

◦ 108,338 persons wounded.


‣ 6 babies froze to death in 4 days. Their names:

◦ Aisha Al Qasas, 21-day-old baby girl;

◦ Ali Saker, 23-day-old baby boy;

◦ Ali Azam, 4-day-old baby boy;

◦ Sila Al Fasaih, 14-day-old baby girl;

◦ Jum’a and Ali Al Batran, 1-month-old baby twins.

‣ Continued stormy weather caused the sweeping away of hundreds of tents, especially in Deir al-Balah and Al Mawasi - Khan Yunis.


‣ Israel has announced the death of 4 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip during their detention. Along with another prisoner whose death was announced last night, the number of prisoners dying since October 7, 2023, has risen to 51.

‣ The Israeli army spokesperson announced that Israel killed 104 “terrorists” in the past 24 hours in Jabalia. The Palestinians do not report this.


‣ Israeli soldiers killed:

◦ Uriel Peretz, 23-years-old from Betar Illit, killed by an anti-tank missile in Beit Hanoun.

◦ Another 8 soldiers were wounded.


Attacks against Israel

‣ 3 alarm sirens in Erez, Yad Mordekhay, Nir Am and Netiv HaAsara. False alarm;

‣ Alarm siren in Kissufim. Rocket fired in Beit Hanoun fell in open area;

‣ Alarm siren in Zikim, Netiv HaAsara and Karmia. 2 interceptions of launchings from Beit Hanoun.


Northern Strip


1. Beit Hanoun – anti-tank missile hit Israeli force. One soldier killed, 8 wounded.

2. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

‣ Artillery fire from the west in the night;

‣ Bombing of Jabalia Al Balad, 4 persons killed.



3. Gaza City:

‣ Artillery fire at Al Sabra and Al Zeitoun in the night;

‣ House bombed in Al Zeitoun, one person killed and others wounded.


Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Helicopter fire west of camp;



‣ Drone bombing north-west of camp, wounded persons.

2. Deir al-Balah – another baby froze to death (his twin brother died yesterday).




Southern Strip

1. Rafah:

‣ Night shelling from the sea of Al Mawasi;

‣ Artillery fire at north-western part of town in the night.
