Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Silat al-Harithiya (continued), Nur Shams refugee camp (2nd consecutive day), Far'a refugee camp (9th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (15th consecutive day), Jenin refugee camp and town (21st consecutive day), Beit Furik, East Nablus, Tammun, Al-Bireh, Azzun. During the day they raided Deir al-Hatab, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Jalazone refugee camp, Khallet ad-Daba'a, Abu Dis, Tell, Mirka, Judeida, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Udala, Kafr 'Aqab, Qabalan.

‣ During January 2025, 580 Palestinians have been arrested, 17 women and 60 minors among them.

‣ Since October 7, 2023, 14,500 Palestinians have been arrested, 455 women and 1,115 minors among them.

‣ Today, at least 17 Palestinians were arrested, 2 minors among them.


Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Far'a refugee camp, south of Tubas – 9th consecutive day. Houses raided at night. House exploded. Confrontations. Woman wounded by live fire. The condition of the refugee camp so far:

‣ No water supply;

‣ Severe lack of food;

‣ Electricity and internet availability not regular;

‣ Prevention of exit of chronic patients for treatments;

‣ Takeover of houses, turning them into army posts;

‣ Expulsion from homes under armed threat, 200 families so far.

2. Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm – 2nd consecutive day. Confrontations. Houses exploded. People expelled under armed threats, elderly as well. Confiscation of cell phones from expelled persons.



3. Jenin refugee camp and town – 21st consecutive day. Drone bombs refugee camp. Confrontations. Situation so far:

‣ 25 persons killed;

‣ 3,200 families displaced;

‣ No water or electricity;

‣ Lack of food;

‣ Education and health systems non-functional.

4. Tulkarm refugee camp and town – 15th consecutive day. Continued jassive presence, demolition, siege.

5. Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin – confrontations that began before midnight continue. Force explodes a house.

6. East Jerusalem – police raids a famous bookstore and arrests its owners. The first claim of “incitement” has been turned into “violating public order”. Arrest of two owners extended by one day, finally released.

7. Judeida, south of Jenin – raid with live fire. Confrontations. Searches in farming structures, setting them on fire, vehicles as well.

8. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – confrontations.

9. Udala, south of Nablus – confrontations.

10. Qabalan, south-east of Nablus – raid with live fire and teargas.

11. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – raid with stun grenades and teargas. A woman and her children are attacked at the entrance of their home.

12. Zeita, north of Tulkarm – one person wounded by live fire near the Separation Wall.

13. Checkpoint north of Salfit – vehicles detained, searches. According to complaints, money and jewelry were stolen or confiscated.


Demolitions

1. Masafer Yatta: Khallet ad-Daba'a, Jinba, Maghayir al 'Abeed – 11 residential structures, 3 residential caves, a farming structure and a tent, all demolished. Dozens of residents remained without a roof over their heads.

2. Issawiya, north-west Jerusalem – demolition orders issued.

3. Silwan, East Jerusalem – demolition orders issued.


Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Havat Gilad outpost, south-west of Nablus – stones thrown at vehicle. 2 persons wounded.

2. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – stones thrown. Damage to vehicle.

3. Tuqu'a, south-east of Bethlehem – stones thrown. Damage to bus.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Qaryut, south-east of Nablus – farming structures set on fire.
