General

1. Battalion 941 was withdrawn from operations in the West Bank after being documented attacking and injuring a CNN crew two days ago.

2. The death penalty law, applied to Palestinian “terrorists” only, passed its third reading by a large majority in the Knesset. Courts will be required to impose the sentence except in exceptional cases, without discretion. Members of the Knesset celebrated the law’s passage with champagne bottles.



Killed

1. Ramzi Abd al-Hakim Muhammad al-Awwawda, 22, HaRasa.

2. Abd al-Rahman Hamza Abd al-Rahman Abu Rib, 31, Jalbun.


Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (442nd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (436th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (422nd consecutive day);

‣ During the night, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar, Tuqu'a, Asira al-Qibliya, Al-Ram, Jericho, Tayasir, Dura, Nablus, Ein Al Sultan refugee camp, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Tubas, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Kobar, Shuweika, Kafr Ni'ma. During the day, they raided Qaryut, Salfit, Beit Dajan, Deir Istiya, Ein Yabrud, Kafr 'Aqab, Ramallah, al-Am'ari refugee camp, Dura el-Kari'a, Beit Duqqu, Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya. At least 12 were arrested.


Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Tuqu'a, south-east of Bethlehem - clashes.

2. HaRasa, south of Dura, south-west of Hebron - live fire toward a resident at the village entrance junction on claims he carried a knife; denial of medical treatment until he died from his injuries; body seized.

3. Anab checkpoint, east of Tulkarm - fire toward a vehicle on claims the driver attempted a ramming attack; denial of medical treatment to the injured driver until he died from his injuries.

4. Kafr 'Aqab, north of Jerusalem - clashes.


5. Ramallah - clashes; one injured by live fire.


6. al-Am'ari refugee camp, north of Ramallah - clashes.


Demolitions and Blockages

1. Silwan, East Jerusalem - demolition of 4 homes in al-Bustan neighborhood.


2. Deir Istiya, north-west of Salfit - uprooting of olive trees and bulldozer work on land near the main road.



Palestinian Attacks on Colonists

1. Burqa, north-west of Nablus - stone-throwing; vehicle damage.


Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Al Maniya, east of Bethlehem - attempt to set fire to a vehicle and a tractor; residents chased the attackers away.

2. Abu Nujaym, south-east of Bethlehem - clashes.

3. Nahalin, west of Bethlehem - vehicles set on fire and graffiti sprayed.


4. Al Shuyukh, north of Hebron - colonists set vehicles on fire, attacked residents, and stole livestock in the al-Rahwa area.


5. Tayasir, east of Tubas - colonists raided with live fire; residents clashed with them; the army later raided the village. The outpost on village land (Area A) was established for the third time.

6. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - colonists raided; residents clashed with them.
