The American-Israeli attack on Iran, day ten

General

1. One of the most intense days of the American-Israeli military campaign against Iran since the war began on February 28, 2026:

◦ large-scale U.S.–Israeli airstrikes inside Iran, particularly in Tehran;

◦ repeated Iranian ballistic missile salvos toward Israel;

◦ escalation across secondary arenas including Lebanon, Iraq and several Gulf states;

◦ continued Iranian drone attacks on regional energy and military infrastructure.

2. At this stage, the war has expanded into a multi-country regional confrontation involving Iran, Israel, the United States, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iran-aligned militias in Iraq and several Gulf states hosting U.S. forces.


Iran

1. Events:

◦ Over the past 24 hours attacks reported across several provinces. Tehran Province, accounting for 32% of the attacks, remains the main target. Isfahan Province follows with a sharp increase of 23% compared to previous days, and Hormozgan Province with 10% of all attacks. Additional attacks reported in Lorestan, Khuzestan and Alborz.


◦ Damage reported to 72 different sites or facilities, including military bases and headquarters, offices of major companies, car agencies, museums in Tehran and Isfahan, clinics and the Sepayan medical center in Tehran.

2. Casualties:

◦ At least 40 civilians killed and 8 civilians injured.

◦ Additionally, 11 fatalities reported whose status (civilian or military) is unknown.

◦ Since February 28, 2026 killed:

- civilians: 1,245 people (including at least 194 children);

- military personnel: 189 people;

- unclassified (civilian/military): 327 people.


Israel

1. Events:

◦ Iran carried out several ballistic missile attacks on Israel during the day. The Israeli army issued 12 separate alerts regarding missile launches from Iran. Several targeted central Israel and the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Israeli air defense systems intercepted most of the missiles. Nevertheless, despite the interceptions, at least one missile penetrated the defenses and struck a residential area. Israeli censorship strictly forbade publication of information about impact sites.


2. Casualties:

◦ 1 killed, a 61-year-old man, and 3 injured - 2 seriously and one lightly - apparently from a cluster missile. The killed man and one injured person were hit at a construction site in Yehud; a second injured person was hit in nearby Or Yehuda; the third was lightly injured in Rishon LeZion.


◦ Since February 28, 2026:

- 12 killed;

- about 2,700 injured, including about 180 over the past 24 hours.


Iraq

1. Events:

◦ Iran-aligned militias continued attacks on U.S. bases in Iraq, regional logistics centers and a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) camp near Kirkuk.

2. Casualties:

◦ 5 militia members killed and 4 injured;

◦ since February 28, 2026:

- estimated 16 killed.


Saudi Arabia

1. Events:

◦ Saudi air defense systems intercepted drones targeting the Shaybah oil field, a major energy facility near the UAE border. The intercepted attacks included two waves of drones totaling 12 aircraft. Additional drones were shot down over eastern oil-production areas.

2. Casualties:

◦ No casualties reported on March 9;

◦ since February 28, 2026:

- 2 civilians killed in Al-Kharj.


Kuwait

1. Events:

◦ Kuwaiti air defense systems shot down six drones targeting various areas of the country. Explosions from interceptions reported across the capital region.

2. Casualties:

◦ No casualties reported on March 9;

◦ since February 28, 2026:

- 6 killed: 2 civilians and 4 security personnel.


United Arab Emirates

1. Events:

◦ Iranian drones attacked facilities connected to regional logistics and information and data infrastructure. Damage reported to parts of technology infrastructure and data centers.

2. Casualties:

◦ No casualties reported on March 9;

◦ since February 28, 2026:

- 6 killed in Iranian drone attacks.


Bahrain

1. Events:

◦ Iranian drone and missile attacks on areas linked to U.S. military infrastructure.


2. Casualties:

◦ Injuries reported in the Sitra area following a drone attack. Their number not specified;

◦ since February 28, 2026:

- 2 civilians killed, including one in an attack on a residential building in Manama.


United States

1. Events:

◦ U.S. forces struck more than 1,000 Iranian targets since the beginning of the campaign. Targets included missile facilities, air defense systems, military bases and logistics infrastructure.

2. Casualties:

◦ No casualties reported on March 9;

◦ Since February 28, 2026:

- 7 service members killed - 6 soldiers killed in Kuwait port in the early stages of the conflict, and one soldier who later died from injuries sustained in Saudi Arabia.


Lebanon

1. Human Rights Watch claims that white-phosphorus shells prohibited under international law were used in last week’s strike on the village of Yohmor Al Shaqif, north-west of Metula. According to the organization, they possess seven pieces of visual documentation and geolocation evidence. The Israeli army denies the claim.

2. Airstrikes and artillery fire across southern Lebanon, the Beqaa and the Beirut area. Israeli army ground activity in southern Lebanon and along the Lebanese-Syrian border in the east.


‣ Local Lebanese sources claim an Israeli helicopter was hit near the eastern border with Syria in the Nabi Chit area.

3. Hezbollah carried out heavy fire of drones, missiles and rockets toward northern border communities, combined with strikes in the Haifa area, HaSharon, Tel Aviv Metropolitan Area, Judean Foothills and Jerusalem coordinated with ballistic missile attacks from Iran.

‣ Precise strike on the satellite station in the Elah Valley.


4. Casualties:

◦ Since February 28, 2026:

486 killed, including at least 83 children, and 1,313 injured.
