Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (405th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (399th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (385th consecutive day);‣ During the night, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad, Deir Sammit, Taffuh, Kharas, Zababdeh, Beit Awa, Tubas, Deir Ballut, Al Far'a refugee camp, Kafr 'Aqab, Meithalun, Iktaba suburb (Tulkarm). During the day, they raided Anata, Beit Safafa, Turmus Ayya, Silwad, Fandaqumiya, Beita, Beit Furik, al-Am'ari refugee camp, Khirbat al-Taibe, Al-Mughayyir, Az-Zawiya, Qarawat Bani Hassan, Surda, Ni'lin, Madama, Beit Jala, Anabta, Bal'a, Deir al-Ghusun, Hizma, Hableh. At least 22 arrested, including a minor.‣ According to the Commission for Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs: at least 100 arrests over the weekend.

1. Zababdeh, south of Jenin – night raid, tear gas, live fire.


2. Meithalun, south of Jenin – night raid, tear gas, stun grenades.

3. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin – night home raids, property damage; additional evening raid, stun grenades.

4. Hebron (Farsh al-Hawa) – raid, tear gas.

5. Beit Safafa, south-east Jerusalem – raid on Al-Rahman Al-Sharqi mosque, fine imposed due to muezzin sound volume.

6. al-Am'ari refugee camp, north of Ramallah – clashes, 2 injured by live fire.


7. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – raid, tear gas, clashes.

8. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah – raid during Iftar, tear gas, stun grenades.

9. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – clashes, 4 injured by live fire (one serious).


10. Madama, south of Nablus – clashes.


Demolitions

1. Issawiya, north-east Jerusalem – resident compelled to demolish own home.

1. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem – stone-throwing, bus damaged.


Colonist attacks on Palestinians

1. Khirbat 'Abu Falah, north-east of Jerusalem – agricultural structure burned.


2. Mukhmas, north-east of Jerusalem – raid on village.

3. Khirbet al-Halawa, Masafer Yatta – home broken into, vandalized.

4. Haribat an-Nabi, Masafer Yatta – colonists in military uniforms detain farmers during work.


5. Rujum Ali, Masafer Yatta – shepherds chased by off-road vehicle.

6. At-Tuwani, Masafer Yatta – colonists in military uniforms expel farmers violently, gunfire in air; soldiers stop ambulance, confiscate keys.


7. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – earthworks, olive trees uprooted for expansion of Brukhin colony cemetery.

8. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – grazing in farmers’ fields; later in Izbat Abu Hamam (Al-Khalayel community) home attacked, live fire. 4 injured: 2 by live fire (including a minor), 2 beaten (woman and 12-year-old daughter). 11 families leave due to ongoing colonist violence.


9. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – grazing in agricultural fields.

10. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – colonists raid Wadi Amar area, residents confront.

11. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – colonist raid, confrontations, army arrests residents.

12. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – house besieged before Iftar, sheep grazing around it.


13. Burin, south of Nablus – weekly provocative march, army accompaniment.

14. Beita, south of Nablus – colonists enter village, confrontations.
