Iran

Casualties in Iran

‣ 201 killed, 747 injured;

◦ among the dead, 85 school girls from a primary school in Minab, southern Iran.



Casualties in Israel

‣ 2 women killed, 25 injured;

◦ one killed by direct hit in Tel Aviv, the second died of a heart attack.



Casualties in other countries

‣ Deaths reported in Abu Dhabi (1), Iraq (unknown number), and Syria (4).


Events

1. In the morning hours, Israel and the United States launched a combined attack on 300 targets in 24 provinces across Iran. Targets reportedly included:

‣ Residential compound of Ali Khamenei – overnight reports that he and members of his family were killed;


‣ Compound of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian;

‣ Intelligence headquarters and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC ) bases;

‣ Commanders’ homes;

‣ Ballistic missile launch sites.

‣ Cities reportedly attacked: Bushehr, Tehran, Isfahan, Qom, Karaj, Kermanshah, Tabriz, Shiraz.


‣ IRGC bases in Iraq also targeted.

◦ In one strike, a girls’ primary school in Minab was hit; preliminary toll 108 killed, including at least 85 girls aged 7–12; an IRGC base located near the school.


2. Iran responded with a series of attacks on:

‣ Israel – 220 missiles;

◦ interception debris fell in multiple locations; direct hits in Tel Aviv and Ramat Gan.

‣ US military bases in Gulf states – Qatar, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi and Dubai), Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (Riyadh), and Syria;

‣ Dubai – strike on Burj Al Arab;



‣ Interceptions of missiles and drones caused debris to fall in Jordan;

‣ Airspace in the above countries closed; airports in Kuwait and Dubai damaged;

‣ In the evening, Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz – a vital oil tanker route.
