Saturday, January 3, 2026 – The Gaza Strip

Over the past 24 hours:

◦ 3 persons killed (including one recovered body) and 18 injured.

Since October 11, 2025:

◦ 418 persons killed;

◦ 1,171 persons injured;

◦ 684 bodies recovered.

Since October 7, 2023 - 71,384 persons killed and 171,251 injured.

‣ The overall death toll has been updated with 110 additional dead whose identification process has been completed.



Northern Strip

1. Machine-gun fire in Beit Lahia, an 11-year-old girl and a 45-year-old woman were killed.

2. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

‣ Gunfire in the east;

‣ Artillery fire on the east;

‣ Houses blown up with explosives;

‣ A drone attacks the camp.




Gaza City

1. East:

◦ Machine-gun fire several times during the day;

◦ Aerial bombing.

‣ Aerial bombing in Shuja'iya, one person killed.


Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp:

‣ Intermittent machine-gun fire on the east of the camp during the day;

‣ Artillery fire on the east of the camp.

2. Aerial bombing on the east of Deir al-Balah.


Khan Yunis District

1. East:

‣ Buildings blown up with explosives;


‣ Intermittent artillery fire during the day;

‣ Houses blown up with explosives in the north-east.

2. West:

‣ Gunfire at Al Nasser compound, 2 persons injured;

‣ Gunfire on a fishing boat;


‣ Shelling from the sea.


Rafah District

1. Machine-gun fire on the west of Rafah, Al-Mawasi area. A girl was killed and 17 others were injured.


2. Shelling from the sea.
