The Regional War – Day 3 of the U.S.–Iran Memorandum of Understanding
Lebanon
1. Prior to the ceasefire coming into effect at 16:00:
‣ At 16:00 the agreement was signed and the ceasefire came into effect. Despite this, the Israeli military continued attacking until 18:30. During the night and morning hours, the Israeli military carried out a further 83 strikes and a ground operation to seize Jabal Ali al-Taher.
‣ Hezbollah fired 50 rockets and anti-tank missiles at Israeli forces; as reported, yesterday evening one Israeli soldier was killed and 7 wounded.
2. Events:
‣ Airstrikes and drone attacks in: Habbouch, Nmairiyeh, Jabal er Rafiaa, Nabatieh, Nabatiyeh Al Fawqa, Arab Salim (4 killed, including a pregnant woman), Toul, Sejoud, Zebdine, Al Rihan, Mazraat Kfar Jouz, Kfar Roummane (a Lebanese army soldier killed), Choukine, Borj Qalaouiye, Barich (4 family members killed, including 2 children), Tebnit, Qabrikha, Sohmor (4 family members killed), Qennarit (7 killed and 13 wounded, including 5 children), Jibchit, Jarjouaa, and Zefta (a child killed).
3. Casualties:
‣ During yesterday's bombardments: 83 killed and 141 wounded.
‣ During the day: at least 18 killed.
