‣ UNICEF report – the pace of children in serious condition evacuated from the Gaza Strip has worsened. From 295 evacuees a month before the closure of the Rafah crossing in May, it is down to 22 a month after it was closed. At this rate, 7 years will be required to evacuate the 2,500 children awaiting evacuation.

Northern Strip
22nd day of siege, starvation, massive bombing, expulsion, arrests.

‣ So far, over 900 persons killed (many bodies still strewn in streets or buried under the rubble). No rescue services, no ambulances. Kamal Adwan Hospital funcions with 3 doctors (the rest are arrested), most of it destroyed. Indonesian Hospital totally non-functioning. Al Awda Hospital shelled. No entry of aid delegations. Toward the end of the day the Israeli army retreated from Jabalia refugee camp.

1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:
‣ Heavy artillery and machine-gun fire at the camp;
‣ Bombing around the Al Falouja cemetery;
‣ Bombing in Nazla Jabalia, one person killed, others wounded;
‣ Family home bombed, 3 persons killed, all children;
‣ Artillery fire at Al Awda Hospital;
‣ Buildings bombed from the east.
2. Beit Lahia:
‣ Heavy artillery and machine-gun fire;
‣ Kamal Adwan – houses set on fire and bulldozer active around the hospital in addition to massive destruction at hospital itself. During the day, the army retreated from the hospital;
‣ Khalifa a Shamaa school bombed;
‣ Drone bombing, 2 persons killed;
‣ A residential block bombed – at least 40 persons killed. For hours the wounded lay without being rescued or removed. Some of them died because no appropriate medical help could be offered. Many bodies still buried under rubble or strewn in the streets;
‣ Artillery fire from the west.
3. Gaza City:
‣ West – shelling from the sea at the town’s beaches;
‣ Al Sabra (south) – drone fire, wounded persons;
‣ Sheikh Radwan, north-west – bombing, killed and wounded persons;
‣ Al Zeitoun, south-east – bombing, two persons killed, others wounded.
Central Strip
1. Al Bureij refugee camp – artillery fire.
2. Nuseirat refugee camp:
‣ Bombing from the west;
‣ Machine-gun fire from the west;
‣ Artillery fire at camp center.
3. Al Maghazi refugee camp – one person killed in bombing.
