Sunday, August 24, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

In the past 24 hours:

◦ 8 cases of death by starvation, including a child;

◦ 64 persons killed (19 of them aid seekers), 278 wounded (123 of them aid seekers).

Since March 18, 2025 – 10,842 persons killed, 45,910 wounded;

Since May 27, 2025 – 2,095 persons killed, 15,431 wounded, all aid seekers;

◦ So far, 289 persons have died of starvation, 115 of them children.

Since October 7m 2023 – 62,686 persons killed, 157,951 wounded.

‣ At least 50 persons killed since dawn.


General

‣ 13 Gazan detainees have been released from Israeli detention centers and passed on to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah.


‣ Over 1,000 residential buildings have been destroyed in Al Zeitoun and Al Sabra neighborhoods of Gaza City in the past 18 days;


Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

◦ A series of booby-trapped robots exploded at night and at dawn. The explosion caused the spread of gases and smells bringing on burning sensations and states of short breath in the nearby neighborhoods of Sheikh Radwan, Jabalias a Nazla and Al Jalaa. Whoever can afford it was asked to wear a mask or water-soaked cloth;


◦ Aerial bombings and artillery fire all day;

◦ Drone fire at noon.

◦ Aerial bombings and artillery fire all day;

◦ Fire belt. Killed and wounded persons near Hamza Mosque;


◦ Drone fire at noon;

◦ House bombed near Al Numan Mosque;

◦ At least 11 residential buildings bombed during the day.

‣ Refugee camp:

◦ Aerial attacks and artillery fire in the morning;

◦ Artillery fire at noon.

2. Shots fired at aid seekers near Zikim Crossing, killed and wounded persons.



Gaza City

1. West:

‣ Residential building bombed on Al Jalaa Street, 3 persons killed including a child.

2. East:

Al Tuffah – drone attack, one person killed;

‣ Helicopter fire.


3. North:

Sheikh Radwan – house bombed east of Sheikh Radwan pool, 3 persons killed, one wounded.

4. South:

◦ House bombed near Al Shaf’i Mosque, one person killed and several wounded;

◦ Residential building bombed in the evening.

◦ House bombed past midnight, a child killed;

◦ Artillery fire in the afternoon, 7 persons killed, several wounded;


◦ Another house bombed.

‣ Residential buildings destroyed.


Central Strip

1. Deir al-Balah – aerial bombing at dusk in the eastern part of town.

2. Al Maghazi refugee camp – aerial bombing at dawn.

3. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Shots fired at aid seekers south of Wadi Gaza, 4 persons killed, 16 wounded;

‣ Aerial attack near the electricity company facilities in the northern part of camp.



Khan Yunis district

1. West:

◦ Aerial bombing;

◦ Displaced persons encampment bombed – wounded persons, including children.


‣ Aerial bombing past midnight;

‣ Artillery fire in the afternoon, 2 persons killed, children and several wounded.

2. East:

Bani Suheila – artillery fire.

3. North:

‣ Residential buildings exploded with explosive materials.

4. South:

‣ Artillery fire at dusk.

5. City center:

‣ Aerial bombing at noon;

‣ Artillery fire at dusk.



Rafah district

1. Destruction of residential buildings in the Saudi neighborhood, in the western part of town.

2. Shots fired at aid seekers at Shaqush, north-west of town, one person killed and wounded persons.
