Arrests

1. Jaffa – Sheikh Issam Setel, Deputy Chairman of the Jaffa Islamic Council and 3 other council members were arrested during a protest following the attack on a Palestinian family yesterday. At least 6 other Jaffa residents were also arrested. Following the arrests, a general strike was declared in Jaffa and about 200 women marched in protest on Yefet Street.
