Protests and Collective Punishment

1. Be'er Sheva – Protest by the “Standing Together” movement over the collective punishment and killing of Muhammad Hussein al-Tarabin and solidarity with the residents of Tarabin. The protesters stated that the police action in Tarabin was not for the sake of achieving security, but rather the result of a deliberate policy aimed at suppressing the Palestinian population and igniting confrontations.

2. Jerusalem – a large-scale demonstration in front of the Prime Minister’s Office in protest of the violence in Palestinian society and the government and police’s inability to eradicate it.

3. Tarabin – at 8 a.m., police forces began to leave the area, after a raid and collective punishment that lasted about two weeks.

Criminal Incidents

1. Majd al-Kurum – automatic shooting from a vehicle at another vehicle inside the village. Two injured, one seriously and the other moderately, residents of the village of Jish, were taken to a hospital in Naharia. The vehicle used by the attackers was found in an olive grove west of the village, burned down.
