Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar, Qalqilya, Dura, al-Mazra'a ash-Sharqiya, Tulkarm, Issawiya, Arranah, ‘Anabta, Faqqua, Bal’a, Kafr al-Labad, Shu’afat, Budrus, Al Bireh, Kafr Malik, Ya'bad, Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Shuqba. During the day they raided Tarqumiyah, Burka, Kafr Jammal, A Ram, Bethlehem, Silwad, Beit Jala, Hebron, Tulkarm (for the second time), Al Mughayyir, Umm Dar, Husan, Zif. General strike in the West Bank cities protesting the massacre at Al Mawasi. 30 persons arrested, including 2 women.
Clashes
1. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - night raid and confrontations, one person wounded by live fire.
2. Issawiya, north-west Jerusalem - night raid and confrontations. Using Skunk water cannon.
3. Habla, south of Qalqilya - one person wounded by live fire close to the Separation Wall, apparently trying to cross it.
4. Shu’afat refugee camp, north-east Jerusalem - night raid and confrontations.
5. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin - night raid and confrontations.
6. Hebron - a woman arrested close to the Ibrahimi Mosque (Cave of the Fathers), having allegedly carried a knife. In another event, a Palestinian wounded by soldiers’ beatings.
7. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - raid, vehicle confiscated. Confrontations including teargas.
8. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah - raid and two vehicles confiscated.
9. Beit Jala, west of Bethlehem - raid and confrontations. House sequestered as an Israeli military post. One person wounded by live fire.
10. Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarm - raid and confrontations.
11. Nabi Elias, east of Qalqilya - 2 persons wounded by live fire near the checkpoint.
12. Husan, west of Bethlehem - raid and confrontations. Teargas fired.
13. Zif, north of Yatta - Israeli forces raid a mosque and homes, photograph villagers while threatening them with destruction, claiming stone-throwing.
Attacks against the army
1. Tzrifin (within Armistice Border 1949) - terrorist attack by vehicle run-over. A vehicle driven by a Palestinian runs over soldiers at a bus stop on one roadside, makes a U-turn and runs over soldiers on the other side, until shot and killed. In this attack, 4 soldiers were wounded: 1 critically, 2 badly. Later the forces raided the West Bank home of the assailant’s parents at A Ram, the elderly parents were arrested. Teargas set fire.
2. Einav Checkpoint, east of Tulkarm - shots fired.
Demolitions
1. Ein Al Dyouk, west of Jericho - 2 houses and a low supporting wall demolished.
2. Silwan, East Jerusalem - a Palestinian woman was forced to demolished her own home.
3. Wadi Joz, East Jerusalem - electric power supply to a house destined for demolition was cut off even beforehand. Home owner has been paying fines for the past 30 years, but was still forced to demolish.
Attacks against colonists
1. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - stones thrown at vehicles.
2. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem - stones thrown at a bus.
3. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - stones thrown at a bus, damage done.
Colonist attacks
1. Beita, south of Nablus - colonists from Eviatar outpost rid a house near Jabal Sabih and threaten its inhabitants, demanding they leave.
2. Ar-Rakeez, Masafer Yatta - a new colonist outpost.
3. Samu’a, south of Hebron - a colonist threatens and chases away a Palestinian shepherd. The Israeli police arrest the… shepherd.
4. Bet El Checkpoint, north of Ramallah - stones thrown.
5. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - stone-throwing.
6. Al Mu’arrajat, north-west of Jericho - colonists raid the community again, graze close to the villagers’ homes, raid the sheep pen.
