‣ United States forces strike Iran, claiming it is in response to an Iranian attack on a ship in the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian television reports missile strikes and impacts in the city of Sirik in Hormozgan Province; the Fars news agency reports explosions on Qeshm Island.
