Commander of Division 162 of the Israeli army admitted that the army has no intention of letting Palestinians return to their homes in the Northern Strip, by order of the Chief of Staff.
Northern Strip
1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:
‣ Explosion of residential buildings;
‣ Bombing of house in Jabalia Al Balad inhabited by 50 members of a single extended family, all of them hurt. 33 persons killed, 14 children among them. The others either wounded or missing;
‣ Bombing and artillery fire at refugee camp;
‣ Drone and artillery fire at refugee camp, tanks enter.
2. Beit Lahia:
‣ School bombed east of the town, persons wounded;
‣ Artillery fire from the south;
‣ Heavy artillery fire all day at various points inside the town.
3. Gaza City:
Left: Noor. Killed in Jabalia. On her hand is written: Noor, beloved by Mom and Dad;
Right: Sheikh Radwan. Killed by a drone.
‣ Aerial bombing of Al Sabra (south), 5 persons killed;
‣ Drone exploded at Sheikh Radwan (north-west), a 3-year-old child killed, his parents wounded;
‣ Artillery fire at Al Zeitoun (south-east).
Central Strip
1. Nuseirat refugee camp:
‣ Shelling from the sea;
‣ Drone fire from the north;
‣ Aerial bombing from the west, 3 persons killed;
‣ Displaced persons tents bombed in the western part of camp, 2 persons killed (a photojournalist among them);
‣ Artillery fire from the west.
2. Al Bureij refugee camp – artillery fire east of camp.
