Thursday, April 4 - The West Bank

Killed

Asad Al Kaniri, 28-years-old from Ya'bad.


Arrests

At least 40 persons arrested, mostly from the Jerusalem district. Israel claims that it arrested a cell that planned attacks in Jerusalem and the assassination of Minister Ben Gvir.


Clashes

1. Jenin city and refugee camp - raid with bulldozers at night. Confrontations, fire exchange and improvised explosive charges. 13-year-old girl wounded by bullet shrapnel. Bulldozers destroyed roads and infrastructures.

2. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin - special forces invaded the home of a wanted man in the morning, and surrounded it. They shot him and denied ambulance access until he died.

3. Al ‘Am'ari refugee camp, south of Ramallah - raid and confrontations. Arrests and one person wounded by live fire.

4. Qabatiya, south of Jenin - Raid and confrontations. Fire exchange and an improvised explosive charge. No casualties reported.

5. Burqin, west of Jenin - raid and confrontations. No casualties reported.

6. Yamun, west of Jenin - raid and confrontations.

7. Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem - raid and confrontations.

8. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - raid on Dhaher neighborhood on the town outskirts using live fire, stun grenades, teargas. During the raid on a house, soldiers beat up 3 minors (13- and 15-years-old) with their rifle butts, victims had to be hospitalized.

9. Tubas - raid and confrontations.

10. Qalqilya - raid. Explosive charges found near the southern checkpoint.

11. Jaba', south of Jenin - raid and confrontations.

12. Kafr Al Labad, east of Tulkarm - raid and confrontations.

13. Umm Al Khair, Masafer Yatta - colonist-soldiers raided the village for no obvious reason other than harassment and intimidation. A 90-year-old woman lost consciousness for sheet fright. Soldiers/colonists ran away.

1. Barta’a checkpoint, south-west of Jenin - shots at checkpoint.

2. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - improvised explosive charges thrown at army force.

1. Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus - stones thrown at vehicles.

1. Ein Yabrud and Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah - colonists graze their sheep on the land of the two villages, damaging the crops.


 

Thursday, April 4 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 6 lethal attacks;

‣ 62 persons killed;

‣ 91 persons wounded;

‣ 24 hours.


101 detainees freed, most suffering injuries as a result of shackling and torture. Passed back to the Gaza Strip through Kerem Shalom.

1. Beit Hanun - house north of town bombed. 3 persons killed. Team of paramedics shot while trying to rescue killed and wounded persons - one paramedic killed,

3 wounded.

2. Gaza City:

‣ Artillery fire at Al Zeitoun neighborhood and outskirts of Tel Al Hawa - persons wounded;

‣ Al Kuwaiti Roundabout - helicopters fire at people around the roundabout.


Central Strip

1. Al Maghazi refugee camp - at least 2 persons killed and 15 wounded in a residential building bombing.

2. Nuseirat refugee camp - 2 persons killed.

3. Deir Al Balah - artillery fired at southern part of town, 2 persons killed. Fighting in town reported.



4. Al Bureij refugee camp - artillery fire.


Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis - aerial bombing around Al Nasser and Al Amal Hospitals (western part of town). Persons wounded. Fighting on the town outskirts.

2. Al Qarara, north-east of Khan Yunis - helicopters fire.

3. Rafah:

‣ 2 houses bombed in the eastern part of town. Killed persons, including children and a pregnant woman of a single family;

‣ Direct hit of Metula house;

Friday, April 5 - The West Bank

Killed

Sa’ed Abu ‘Aliwa, 31 years old from Nur Shams refugee camp.


Arrests

About 25 persons arrested, one of them a minor, 11 of them at Al Aqsa Mosque and an unknown number of Gazans arrested around Idhna, west of Hebron.

1. Nur Shams refugee camp and Tulkarm city - simultaneous raid of 3 houses. One in the refugee camp, two in the city. At the camp confrontations ensue. A Palestinian is shot. Pronounced dead at the hospital. In the city - searches while damaging contents of house, arrests.

2. Kafr Ra’i, south-east of Jenin - Raid. Confrontations. 2 persons wounded by live fire. One of them shot in the back, his condition serious. Ambulance access prevented.

3. Fahma, south of Jenin - raid and house searches. Shots at army force. Arrests.

4. Al Aqsa Mosque - last Ramadan Friday and throughout Leilet Al Qader (holy night for Muslims) - numerous arrests, at noon people praying around Bab Al Asbat (Lions Gate) attacked, drones firing teargas at Dawn and Night Prayers. Suffocations. Palestinians called for the liberation of Palestine.

5. Osarin, south-east of Nablus - raid and confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

6. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - raid while firing rubber-coated bullets, teargas and stun grenades at people exiting Friday prayers at the mosque. 2 persons wounded by rubber-coated bullets (thigh and face), including a 14-year-old.

7. Husan, west of Bethlehem - confrontations around Al Matina. No casualties reported.

8. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem - confrontations. No casualties reported.

9. ‘Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid. Improvised explosive charge and fire exchange. Arrests.

10. Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya - confrontations.

11. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - army opens fire at farmers and shepherds.

Attacks against the army

1. Megiddo Junction - Palestinian citizen of Israel tries to attack a policeman with a hammer. Shot and arrested. The policeman was not hurt.

2. Jordanian border, near Sheikh Hussein Crossing - shots from Jordan at Israeli army patrol (probably by a group who crossed the border and retreated).


Attacks against colonists

1. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - stones thrown at vehicles. Later, a side-explosive-charge on the road was neutralized.


Colonist attacks

1. Ras Al Ein, north of Jericho - colonists attack, ignite 3 houses of Palestinians who were already forced out by colonist violence, and Star of David sprayed on house walls. Army and police summoned, came late and did not detain any colonists.



2. Shab El Butm, Masafer Yatta - colonist-soldiers raid the community and threaten it. 4 Solidarity activists present to document the action were arrested.


 

Friday, April 5 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 5 lethal attacks;

Friday, April 5 - Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

‣ Rocket volley after midnight, direct hit at building in Metula with army force inside. A soldier wounded;

‣ Missile directed at Zar’it;

Adamit - army force attacked;

Manara - army force shelled.


Attacks against Lebanon

‣ Artillery fire - Ayta ash Shab (two Hezbollah fighters killed), Marjayoun (3 Al Amal Movement activists killed), Kafrkela, Shab’a town, Al Dhahira;

‣ Aerial attack - Meiss Al Jabal, Blida. another person killed: a paramedic died of his wounds from the attack carried out a few days ago against a group of paramedics.

 

Saturday, April 6 - The West Bank

Killed

Ida Al Hadhalin, 90-years-old from Umm Al Khair, died after losing consciousness of fright during a threatening raid on her community in Masafer Yatta.


Arrests

About 45 persons arrested, including 2 minors and 3 women. 16 of them at Al Aqsa Mosque.

1. Kafr ‘Ein, north-west of Ramallah - raid, confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

2. Til, south-west of Nablus - soldiers attack a 22-year-old at the checkpoint. He was rushed to hospital, suffering cuts and lesions in his head and eyes.

3. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin - town raided. Confrontations. A 15-year-old wounded by live fire.

4. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid. House surrounded, arrest. Confrontations ensue. No casualties reported.



5. Al Aqsa - confrontations between people praying and policemen who used clubs. Numerous arrests.

6. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - confrontations.

7. Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem - confrontations.

1. Bab Al Amoud (Damascus Gate), East Jerusalem - a 17-year-old resident of Bir Zeit arrested because his bag allegedly contained a knife.

2. Huwara Checkpoint, south of Nablus - gunfire.

1. Azzun, east of Qalqilya - stones thrown at vehicles.

2. Avnei Hefetz, east of Tulkarm - shots fired at colony.

1. Qusra, south-east of Nablus - a group of army-clad colonists attacked a chicken farm (for the 4th time in 10 days). Caused heavy damage, destroyed surveillance equipment.

2. Ras Al Ein, north of Jericho - armed colonists graze their flock among people’s houses.


 

Saturday, April 6 - The Gaza Strip

‣ 4 lethal attacks;

‣ 46 persons killed;

‣ 63 persons wounded;

‣ 4 Israeli soldiers killed;

‣ 4 Israeli soldiers wounded, 2 of them in serious condition;

‣ A captive’s body recovered from a grave in Khan Yunis;

‣ 9 rockets fired from Lebanon during the night;

Malkia - army post hit;

‣ Rockets fired at Shlomi;

‣ Israeli drone intercepted in Lebanon.

‣ Aerial attacks - Arnoun (2 persons killed), Ayta ash Shab, Tyre Harfa, Marjayoun;

‣ Artillery fire - Naqoura, Meiss Al Jabal (one person killed), Yarun - a woman hit in an aerial bombing a few days ago died of her wounds.

 

Sunday, April 7 – The West Bank

Arrests

‣ Persons arrested, among them a minor and two female students (one of them a former prisoner).

Walid Daqqa, 62 years old, died in the hospital. Walid, the longest-serving Palestinian prisoner in Israeli jails, was an Israeli citizen and a resident of Baqa al-Gharbiyye. He was convicted of commanding the group that kidnapped and murdered the soldier Moshe Tamam, in 1984. He was not an active participant, and was sentenced to life in prison. While in prison, he studied, completed academic degrees, authored several prison literature works and published political articles. He believed in cooperation between Jews and Palestinians and was a member of the Balad party. His prison term was extended after a mobile device was smuggled for him. Two years ago he was diagnosed with cancer.


Clashes

1. Ramallah - a raid for arrest purposes in the Ramallah Al-Tatta neighborhood, confrontations. A resident was wounded by a live fire to the head.

2. Beit Einun - north of Hebron – raid. One person wounded by live fire.

3. Silat ad-Dhahr - south of Jenin - raid and confrontations. Live fire. No injuries were reported.

4. Ya’bad checkpoint (Dotan) - southwest of Jenin - shooting at the checkpoint turned into exchange of fire and confrontations. No injuries were reported.


Attacks against colonists


Nabi Elias


1. Nabi Elias - east of Qalqilya - shooting at a bus and a private car on highway 55. 2 wounded, including a female soldier in critical condition. The shooter escaped. His mined vehicle was later located and detonated in a controlled manner. Searches, blocking the eastern entrance to the city and roads in all the Palestinian communities east of the city.



2. Alfei Menashe - east of Qalqilya - Live fire at the colony. A house was hit. No casualties.



3. Sinjil - Northeast of Ramallah - stones thrown at a bus. Damage to the vehicle. No casualties.


Colonist attacks

1. Yatta - colonists grazed on agricultural crops owned by the local Bedouin community. The army detained the Bedouins.

2. Kfar Laqif - east of Qalqilya - colonists threw stones at vehicles.

 

Sunday, April 7 – The Gaza Strip

‣ 4 lethal attacks;

‣ 38 persons killed;

‣ 71 persons wounded;

‣ 24 hours.

1. Gaza City:

‣ Shuja'iyya - aerial attack - 4 persons killed, including a child;



‣ Commercial building at the city center - 3 persons killed;

Central Strip

1. Al Bureij refugee camp - Bombing. One person killed.

2. Nuseirat refugee camp - 4 persons killed and one wounded.

1. Khan Yunis - after 4 months and the destruction of 55% of all houses, IDF forces withdrew from the city. Residents began to return to their homes.



15 bodies were pulled from the rubble. The army claims a tactical withdrawal, in preparation for the attack on Rafah.

3. Rafah - aerial attack of the Al Janina neighborhood.

 

Sunday, April 7 – Northern Israeli Border

Attacks against Israel

Manara - Rockets fired at military post;

Golan Heights – Missiles fired;

 ‣ 40 rockets on northern Israel.


Attacks against South Lebanon

‣ Aerial attacks – Janta (Baalbek district), the Israeli army claims it is a Hezbollah special units compound. Kafrkela - a Hezbollah activist killed. Kafr Shuba, Deir Qanoun En Nahr.

‣ Artillery – Deir Mimas, the Litani area till the foot of the Beaufort.

 

Monday, April 8 – The West Bank

Killed

Sa’ad Abu Mukhsein, 18-years-old, Tayasir.


Arrests

43 arrested, 20 of them from Hebron. 26 bodies of prisoners and detainees who died in prison are still held by Israel.

Balata refugee camp


1. Al Aqsa - raid on the prayer hall Bab Al Rahma. Worshipers expelled and two arrested.

2. Tulkarm refugee camp - raid. Bulldozers. A tight closure imposed. A Mobile Phone store surrounded. The owner was interrogated and the store demolished. Exchange of fire. Improvised explosive charge. No injuries were reported.

3. Dura - south of Hebron - during a massive raid and detention operation, the soldiers attacked the suspect's wife.

4. Balata refugee camp- east of Nablus - raid. Bulldozers. confrontations. Exchange of fire. An improvised explosive charge hit one of the bulldozers. Snipers on the rooftops. 2 persons wounded by live fire and shrapnel.



5. Baqa al-Gharbiyye - Magav police officers attacked Walid Daqqa's mourning pavilion, firing tear gas. Removed the tent and detained at least 5.



6. Husan - west of Bethlehem - raid. Access to the mosque was denied and shops were forced to close. Confrontations.

7. Qawawis - Masafer Yatta - soldiers detained 2 solidarity activists who escorted Palestinian shepherds in an unrestricted area. The army claimed that the two were taking pictures for the purpose of espionage... Their cameras were confiscated and they were taken to an undisclosed location. Since then the army has changed its version several times.


Attacks against the army

1. Tayasir checkpoint - east of Tubas - a young Palestinian woman approached the checkpoint and tried to stab soldiers. They shot and killed her. No casualties among the soldiers.

1. Ras Karkar - west of Ramallah - orders of cessation of construction.


Attacks against colonists

1. Meirav - east of Jenin - fire at houses. No casualties reported.


Colonists attacks

1. Maghayer Al Dir - colonists raided the community, breached a privately owned fence and forced themselves in with their herd.



2. Ein Samiya - northeast of Ramallah - a colonist cut a Palestinian-owned fence and let his herd in.

 

Monday, April 8 – The Gaza Strip

Rockets on Gaza Envelope. Sirens were not activated.


Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

‣ Shuja'iyya – 7 persons killed;

‣ Tuffah – artillery;

‣ Al Kuwaiti Roundabout – sporadic fire;

‣ Zeitoun – artillery;

‣ Sheikh Ijlin - fire at Palestinians who tried to return to their home.

1. Deir Al Balah - demolition of houses in the east of the city, to create a buffer zone. A woman and her son were fatally shot when they tried to return to their home.

1. Khan Yunis - 84 bodies were pulled from the rubble. Among them is a family of 10 (father, mother, grandmother and 7 children).

Monday, April 8 – Northern Israeli Border

‣ Rockets on Kiryat Shmona;

‣ 15 rockets on Western Galilee;

‣ Sirens in the Golan. A missile from Syria fell in open area;

Hanita - direct hit at military post.


Attacks against Lebanon

‣ Aerial: Al Sultaniyah - 2 persons killed, Khiam, Salmiya - 4 raids in one hour, Aaddousiyyeh, Kafr Hamam.
