Killed
1. Palestinians - since October 7th, 376 Palestinians were killed: 94 of them minors, 8 by colonists, 2 by soldier-colonists, 2 by other Palestinians during a terrorist shooting. Since the beginning of 2024 - 63 killed, 13 of them minors.
2. Israelis - since October 7th, 10 Israelis were killed: 5 in the West Bank (4 of them soldiers), 5 inside Israel, 1 by another Israeli.
Wounded
1. Israelis wounded - since October 7th, until January 18th - 58 Israelis were wounded in terrorist attacks, or soldiers during military operations.
2. Palestinians wounded - since October 7th, 4,408 Palestinians were wounded, 669 of them minors.138 by colonists or soldier-colonists, 54% of them during military operations, 33% of them by live fire.
Arrested
Since October 7th, 6,540 Palestinians were arrested in the West Bank.
Demolitions and displaced persons
1. Since October 7th to January 31, 2024, 565 structures were demolished by the Civil Administration or the Jerusalem Municipality in Area C and East Jerusalem. 503 Palestinians became homeless - displaced as a result, 242 of them minors (this datum is valid as of February 4th).
2. Between October 7, 2023 and February 4, 2024, 123 residential buildings were demolished during military operations. Consequently, 779 Palestinians lost their homes, 326 of them minors. 95% of them in the refugee camps of Jenin, Nur Shams and Tulkarm.
3. Since October 7th, the Israeli army demolished 22 houses as collective punishment. Consequently 105 Palestinians remained homeless, 45 of them minors.
4. Since October 7th, 1,208 Palestinians, 586 of them minors, were evicted by colonist violence or draconian movement restrictions. All of them in October 2023.
Colonist attacks
1. Since October 7th, 498 colonist attacks were documented, 107 of them ending up with casualties.
2. The American administration declared sanctions on 4 colonists involved in violence towards Palestinians and Israeli activists. The sanctions include denial of entry to the US, freezing assets, and freezing assets in the US. The Canadian government announced its intention to join sanctions on colonists involved in violence.
In Israel - Bank Leumi and Israel Postal Bank froze the accounts of two of the four colonists, Bank Hapoalim announced its intention to freeze accounts of the other two.
The four are:
David Chai Chesdai, 29-years-old, among the leaders of the Huwarra pogrom (February 2nd, 2023), whose record includes a prison sentence for meaning to attack at Beit Iksa in 2016, and detention in 2013 for attacking a taxi driver. He was in administrative detention for the Huwarra pogrom, but released by the court after one month.
Yinon Levi, 31-years-old, of Havat Meitarim (outpost): On October 16th he entered Susia accompanied by soldiers, driving a tractor, and carried out demolitions and tree-uprootings without a warrant. He was also involved in attacks and threats of farmers in Massafer Yatta several times.
Einan Tanjil, 21-years-old, of Bat Ayin. Indicted for attacking Palestinians and wounding an Israeli activist with sticks and stones. Has not been sentenced yet.
Shalom Sicherman, 32-years-old, attacked Israeli activists in their car in Massafer Yatta, and wounded one of them.

Killed
1. Israelis killed - 1,443 Israelis killed since October 7th, 36 of them minors. Among those killed, 223 soldiers since the beginning of the ground invasion. Of the 136 captives now held in Gaza, 27 have been declared killed (13 during the ground invasion and the bodies of the rest kidnapped on October 7).
2. Palestinians killed - 35,069 killed including those buried under the rubble for over 14 days. 27,365 bodies have been extracted.
Of those killed:
‣ 13,642 minors (including those buried under the rubble);
‣ 7,656 women;
‣ 30,571 of all those killed were civilians;
‣ 309 medical staff members;
‣ 41 rescue operatives;
‣ 121 journalists (more than in any conflict since 1992).

During the week since the Hague court ruling, 1,048 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip in 108 Israeli attacks.
Wounded
1. Israelis wounded - over 5,400 Israelis and foreign workers were wounded on October 7th. Since the beginning of the ground invasion, 1,296 soldiers were wounded.
2. Palestinians wounded - 67,240 persons wounded, hundreds in critical condition. 1,800 of them wounded after the Hague court announced its ruling.
Among the wounded:
‣ 380 medical staff members;
‣ 135 rescue operatives;
‣ 1,243 wounded persons were passed over to Egypt through the Rafah Crossing for urgent medical treatment.

Arrested
2,796 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip are still held in custody. Among those released, torture was reported and bodily signs of violence. Among the freed prisoners is an 82-year-old woman ill with Alzheimer’s disease in serious condition. Her caregiver is still held in custody by Israel.
Captives
‣ 250 persons were taken captive on October 7th;
‣ 136 are still held as hostages, 27 of them killed;
‣ 124 have been released or freed, 13 of them killed.
Demolitions
‣ 79,200 residential units were totally destroyed;
‣ 290,000 residential units were partly destroyed and uninhabitable;
‣ 60% of the Gaza Strip’s residential units have been totally or partly destroyed.
In addition:
‣ 170 communication centers;
‣ 390 educational institutions;
‣ 183 mosques;
‣ 3 churches;
‣ 199 heritage sites;
‣ 1,720 industrial structures;
‣ 235 health institution: 26 hospitals, 63 clinics, 146 ambulances;
‣ 245 square kilometers were targets of massive bombing, namely 67% of the Gaza Strip.
Displaced persons
75% of the Gaza Strip population are displaced and most of them are in the Rafah area at present (originally Rafah numbered 250,000 residents).
Humanitarian Crisis
1. Aid delegations - during January 2024, only 10 of the 61 aid delegations to the northern Gaza Strip reached their destination - most of the applications were rejected by the Israeli army, or directed to impassable routes.
Only 63% of the aid delegations to the central Gaza Strip were carried out.
2. According to UNICEF - 17,000 minors remained without adult supervision, most of them without extended families, some unidentified. Nearly all 1.2 million children in the Strip need urgent psycho-social intervention.
3. The health system - 13 of the 36 hospitals in the Gaza Strip function in part (some of them under bombings) - 7 in the north, 6 in the south, namely 36% of all hospitals. 17% of the clinics are partially functional.

4. Starvation/hunger - about 2.2 million Gazans are now at the high levels (4-5) of hunger distress. 350,000 children under 5 years of age; 10,000 children are in danger of physical and cognitive halted development because of malnutrition.
5. Electricity and communication - since October 11th, Israel has withheld electricity supply to the Gaza Strip. Since November 19th, fuel supply is limited and enables limited electricity supply. 6 times since October, all supplies of internet and communication have not functioned.

One case behind the numbers:
On January 29, 2024, 6-year-old Hind Rajab joins her uncles and cousins riding a car. There are 7 passengers in all. They encounter an Israeli tank and snipers. 5 of the car’s passengers are killed. Hind’s cousin Lian Hamada, 15-years-old, calls the Red Crescent. She is wounded. She asks for rescue. While on the phone, she is shot and killed. 6-year-old Hind is left alone with 6 bodies. She asks to be picked up.
2 paramedics come out to rescue her (after hours of coordination attempts). Since then, until February 5th, the fate of Hind or the paramedics has remained unknown.

Friday, February 2 - The West Bank
Arrests
28 persons arrested, including a woman, a wounded man and 3 minors.
Clashes
While Palestinians are prevented from entering Al Aqsa for Friday prayers, Jews take photos of themselves with these shirts in the compound
1. East Jerusalem - limiting the number of people allowed to enter Al Aqsa compound for Friday prayers: 13,000 compared to 70,000 prior to October 7th. People concentrated in Wadi Joz and Ras Al Amud streets. Some were attacked by Israeli soldiers.
2. Qusra, south east of Nablus - raid of the town. Confrontations during which a resident was wounded by live fire.
3. Hebron, Al Ras neighborhood (close to the Ibrahimi Mosque) - shots fired at a Palestinian vehicle, its driver arrested. His condition is unclear.
4. Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem - night raid and confrontations. No casualties reported.
5. Dura, south of Hebron - raid of a prisoner’s home. Searches, his brother attacked with physical brutality.
6. Jenin - night raid with bulldozer and drones. Arrests. Confrontations. No casualties reported.
7. Wadi Al Far’a, south of Tubas - night raid and arrest of a resident in order to pressure his brother to turn himself in. Raid on the homes of his two brothers, damage to contents.
8. Deir Istiya, north-west of Salfit - the town has been declared a ‘closed military zone’ in order to prevent a protest event against the colonies.
Colonist attacks
1. As-Sawiya, south of Nablus - colonists ignite a vehicle and throw stones at houses.
2. Kisan, east of Bethlehem - a colonist runs over a flock of sheep, kills one and wounds others.

Northern Strip
1. Gaza City - a group of people bombed around the stadium. Some killed (their number not reported); bodies (in advanced stages of decomposition) began to be discovered north of the city as the Israeli army retreated. Belgian aid organization offices were bombed and destroyed. The Israeli ambassador in Belgium was called for clarification.

Southern Strip
1. Khan Yunis - Al Amal school hit (close to the hospital targeted by shots and bombings for the past week) - it shelters displaced persons, one woman killed and several people wounded. Shots at the Red Crescent HQ close to Al Amal Hospital - 3 killed, among them the head of the organization’s volunteer HQ. 13 others wounded. Wounded people from HQ could not be taken there because it is targeted by snipers. Al Amal Hospital is in dire condition - its oxygen supply is out, and there is serious lack of fuel and food.

Khan Yunis City center - 12 bodies extracted from the rubble of the Shar’ab family home.
The western part of the city - 8 people killed when a residential building was bombed.
The southern part of the city - 4 people killed by shooting when trying to get back home. The European Hospital in Khan Yunis was bombed - 2 people were wounded. In the displaced persons camp near Nasser Hospital - there are now 30,000 displaced persons and reports of serious lack of water, baby formulas, food and medication.

Saturday, February 3 - The West Bank
Arrests
13 people arrested.
Confrontations
1. Rujeib, east of Nablus - night raid, siege on house and arrests.
2. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin - two former convicts were taken out of their vehicle, brutally attacked and arrested. A restaurant and a cafe raided, their contents damaged, vehicles confiscated.
3. Kafr Jamal, south of Tulkarm - raid and confrontations. One person seriously wounded by live fire at his chest.
4. Tubas - the town raided, accompanied by bulldozer, house searches, confrontations including live fire. No casualties reported.
5. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus - raid accompanied by bulldozer. Lengthy confrontations. A 4-year-old bitten by dog of the military force. 2 people wounded by live fire.
6. Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem - raid for arrests, confrontations.
7. Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit - house raided because of a 3-year-old’s toy gun…
8. Yatta - 28-years-old pregnant woman arrested in order to pressure her husband to turn himself in. She remained in custody even after he was arrested.
9. Husan, west of Bethlehem - raid and blockades. Shop owners forced to close them during blockades.
Colonist attacks
1. Arab Al Malihat, west of Jericho - colonists raid the area accompanied by dogs and prevent Palestinian grazing.
2. Farasin, south west of Jenin - colonists with soldiers raid the village on a rampage of destruction, vandalizing and causing damage to property. Smashing security camera lenses and confiscating them.
3. Zibda, south-west of Jenin - colonist take over fields, graze their flocks there and prevent the owners from accessing them.
4. Umm Nir, Masafer Yatta, close to Susia - colonists with soldiers attacked shepherds and farmers brutally with pepper spray. While the soldiers attacked, the colonists grazed their flock inside an olive tree grove. 2 of the landowners who were attacked were arrested.
5. Ras Al Ein, Al-Auja, north of Jericho - colonists attack shepherds. One of the colonists claims to have been attacked by a shepherd (the opposite is true). Army alerted to the site enabled the colonists to invade the community and the sheep pen, from which the colonist tried to take sheep claiming they were stolen from him (a well-known tactic). Activists prevented them from doing so.
A policeman summoned there enabled this. Colonists armed with sticks and semi-automatic guns arrived and a fight ensued. One Palestinian man was wounded by stone throwing, an elderly woman sustained a fracture in her leg, the owner of the sheep was arrested (and released a few hours later). The colonists, the sheep, the soldiers and the policeman left. As they left, the colonists stole the cell phone of one of the activists.

1. Rafah - slightly after midnight, a residential building bombed - killing 11, wounding 27. An hour later, another house bombed - killing 4. Another bombing in the afternoon kills 5 including a child, and wounds 13 people.
2. Khan Yunis - bombing of the European Hospital - one person killed and building damaged. A nearby gas station is hit - one person killed and 6 wounded.
3. Bani Suheila - a building is combed, at lest 20 persons buried under the rubble, their extraction is impossible.
Sunday, February 4 - The West Bank
January in numbers

Humanitarian aid
The UN Welfare Agency UNWRA announced it would cease its activity in the Gaza Strip at the end of the month following donation sanctions by several states, because of Israel’s accusation that 12 of the agency’s workers were involved in the October 7th massacre.

1. Gaza City, Al Rimal neighborhood - a house bombed, killing 4 people. Al Sabra neighborhood - 2 people killed in a bombing. A drone at the center of the city kills 3 people. Shifa Hospital is under siege for 7 days now. Bodies are extracted from the rubble after the army retreats, and brought to Kamal Adwan Hospital.
Central Strip
1. Deir Al Balah - at 111:30 a.m. a house is bombed, killing 7 people. At 1:45 p.m. two houses are bombed, killing 14 people and wounding 70, including children. At 7:30 p.m. another bombing of a residential building kills 14 people.
2. Al Boureij - an Israeli helicopter attacks. Kills several, their number not reported.

1. Rafah - a kindergarten - situated in an area that is not to be evacuated and is declared “safe” and shelters DPs, is bombed. Several killings, 2 children among them. Direct bombing of a vehicle - all its passengers killed.
2. Khan Yunis - 2 DPs were killed. Hospital under siege for 14 days. Serious lack of food, fuel will last one week, lack of baby formulas, diapers for babies, the elderly and the disabled.
