Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (80th consecut8ive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (74th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (61st consecutive day), Hebron, Issawiya, Aqabah, Al-Aizariya, Arura, Deir Ghasana, Old Askar refugee camp, New Askar refugee camp, Zababdeh, Sir, Siris, Meithalun, Judeida, Nablus, Budrus, al-Am'ari refugee camp. During the day they raided Beit Furik, Shuafat refugee camp, Tuqu'a, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Ya'bad, Anata, Burqin, Qaryut, Beita, Al-Bireh, Usarin. At least 15 Palestinians were arrests, a woman journalist and 3 minors among them.

‣ Amad Manassara was released after 10 years in prison:

He was arrested at the age of 13 when Israel claimed he stabbed a colonist. During his arrest he was run over and his cousin killed. He underwent torture during his investigations. Most of the time he was isolated and suffered mental problems. Today he was released far from where his family was notified he would be released. Over the years petitions were filed requesting his released due to his condition, and they were all rejected.


Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Checkpoint in Jericho – 4 persons wounded by beatings at the checkpoint.

2. Issawiya, north-west Jerusalem – confrontations.

3. Jenin refugee camp and town – a house set on fire near the camp, a bulldozer began destroying houses in Al Hadaf neighborhood.

4. Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarm – 61st consecutive day. A truckload of wild boar released inside the camp.

5. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – raid with live fire and teargas.

6. New Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus – confrontations. One person wounded by live fire.

7. Ya'bad, south-west of Jenin – house raided with live fire. Confrontations.

8. Shuafat refugee camp, north-east Jerusalem – raid and confrontations. A minor wounded.

9. Burqin, west of Jenin – a wanted man’s home raided.

10. Beit Furik, east of Nablus – confrontations.

11. Qaryut, south of Nablus – confrontations. Suffocations.

12. Beita, south of Nablus – confrontations.

13. Al-Bireh – 3 persons wounded, beaten up by soldiers. Hospitalized.


Demolitions

1. Tulkarm – demolition as collective punishment of a prisoner accused of aiding and abetting a terrorist attack.

2. Ar-Rihiya, south of Hebron – 2 houses demolished. Confrontations.

3. Shufa, south-east of Tulkarm – house demolished, no previous warning.

4. Khirbet an-Nahla, south of Bethlehem – bulldozers demolish farmland.


Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Usarin, south-east of Nablus – stones thrown, vehicle damaged.

2. Al Khader, south-west of Bethlehem – incendiary bombs thrown.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Baytillu, west of Ramallah – colonists attack a journalist’s vehicle.

2. Rugham Ghali, east of Yatta – colonists attack shepherds, run over sheep, throw stones, pepper spray. Wounded persons. The army comes to the village, fires in air and throws stun grenades. Arrests 8 Palestinians, a minor among them. Palestinians wounded.

3. Hawara (Masafer Yatta) – colonists try to steal sheep and vandalize a vehicle.
