Thursday, August 29, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

‣ From August 28th until August 29th noontime, 68 bodies brought to hospitals and 11 wounded persons;

‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 20,602 persons killed;

◦ 93,865 persons wounded.

Attacks against Israel

1. 2 rockets fired at Kisufim.


Northern Strip

1. Gaza City:

West of Gaza. 8 persons burned alive


‣ Al Sabra (south) – artillery fire;

‣ Al Zeitoun (south-east) – artillery fired during the day. Aerial bombing during the day. Bombing, a child killed;



‣ West of the city - 2 houses bombed. A fire broke out. Trapped people cried for help and burned alive. 8 persons killed and many wounded;

‣ Al Shati refugee camp (west) – house bombed, one person killed, others wounded.

2. Beit Lahia – house bombed, one person killed, others wounded.



3. Jabalia refugee camp – a child rescued from rubble of a house bombed last night.


Central Strip

1. Deir Al Balah:



‣ Displaced persons tent bombed, one person killed;

‣ Bombings south-east of town;

‣ Artillery fire east of town;

‣ Aerial bombing at main roundabout, 5 persons killed;

‣ Partial retreat east of town;

‣ 2 bodies extracted from eastern part of town after Israeli retreat;

‣ Aerial bombing, 3 persons killed.

2. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Bombing near mosque, wounded persons;

‣ Bombing south-west of the camp;

‣ Artillery fire north-west of the camp;

‣ Residential building bombed west of town, 9 persons killed including a baby girl and a pregnant woman with her fetus.



Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis and surroundings:

‣ Artillery fire at Bani Suheila (east);



Abasan Al Jadida – displaced persons tents bombed, 5 persons killed;

‣ Artillery fire at displaced persons tents west of town, killed and wounded persons;

‣ Sniper fire, one person killed;

‣ Aerial bombing at Bani Suheila;

‣ Artillery fire at city center.

2. Rafah – drone attacks a group of people north of town, 7 persons killed.
