Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (Day 536), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (Day 530), Nur Shams refugee camp (Day 516).

‣ Overnight raids conducted in Anin, Anata, Al-Mughayyir, Turmus Ayya, Khirbat 'Abu Falah, Deir Jarir, Shuweika, Kafr Qallil, Nablus, Al-Bireh, Beit Ummar, Meithalun, Sanur, Kafr 'Aqab, and ad-Dhahiriya. Daytime raids carried out in Tuqu'a, Mukhmas, Duma, Kufr al-Dik, Bruqin, Qalqilya, Beit Furik, Surif, Silwan, Sa'ir, Halhul, Kafr Malik, Beit Rima, Bethlehem, Silat al-Harithiya, Biddya, Burka, Azmut, and Aqabah. At least 32 arrested, including 2 minors and a woman.


Israeli Military Attacks on Palestinians

1. Meithalun, south of Jenin – Night raid on several homes. 4 arrested, including 2 high school students.

2. Anin, west of Jenin – Illumination flares fired during a night raid.

3. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – Night raid on several homes.

4. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – Clashes. Stun grenades fired at a wedding procession.


5. Shuweika, north of Tulkarm – Night raid on a home.

6. Al-Bireh, north of Jerusalem – Raid with stun grenades deployed.

7. Kafr 'Aqab, north of Jerusalem – Night raid on several homes.


8. Mukhmas, north-east of Jerusalem – Breslov Hasidim enter the village. They report to police that they feel unsafe, and in response the army besieges the village and extracts the intruders; their vehicle is found destroyed. The army converts the council building into a military post. 15 detained, including a woman. A resident wounded after being beaten by soldiers.


9. Qalqilya – Clashes.

10. Al-Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah – Night raid on homes; entrance closed. Clashes erupted later.

11. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah – Clashes.

12. Kafr Malik, east of Ramallah – Clashes.

13. Kafr Qallil, south of Nablus – Night raid on a home.


Demolitions

1. Khirbet Ad Deir, south-east of Bethlehem – A residential home demolished without allowing residents to remove their belongings.


2. Ain al-Hilweh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – Residential tin shacks demolished despite an injunction issued until July 15.

3. Surif, north of Hebron – Bulldozer works and uprooting on agricultural land.

4. Bruqin, west of Salfit – A home demolished.

5. Kufr al-Dik, west of Salfit – Agricultural structures demolished.

6. Duma, south-east of Nablus – Agricultural facilities demolished.


Colonist Attacks on Palestinians

1. Khirbet Yarza, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – Agricultural road blocked; farmers prevented from reaching their land.

2. Khirbat Mas'ud, south-west of Jenin – Threatening raids.

3. Hebron – Raid and attack on the Khallet al-Natsh neighborhood. Army arrests 3 residents, including an elderly man.

4. Anata, north-east of Jerusalem – Colonists graze on Bedouin community land.

5. Umm al-Khair, Masafer Yatta – Raids on home courtyards and residents attacked.


6. Qawawis, Masafer Yatta – Nighttime attack of threats and harassment.

7. Burka, east of Ramallah – Night raid; vehicles and agricultural crops vandalized.


8. NablusRamallah road, near Eli – Stones thrown at an ambulance.

9. Awarta, south-east of Nablus – As on most nights, colonists raid the village on their way to an archaeological site.

10. Aqraba, south-east of Nablus – Raid on a farm; 25 head of cattle stolen.

11. Qusra, south-east of Nablus – A home attacked and emptied of belongings.

12. Burin, south of Nablus – Night attack, during which an electricity supply pole was destroyed.
