Day 22 of U.S.–Iran Negotiations to End the Regional War
Iran
1. Events:
‣ Approximately 170 military targets were struck. Most strikes hit air defense bases and drone and missile depots, as well as bridges, boats, a railway line, and a port in Chabahar, Bandar Abbas, Bandar-e-Jask, Bushehr, and Ahvaz, near the Strait of Hormuz.
‣ In response, the Iranians struck 4 United States bases in Kuwait and Bahrain, and launched 10 missiles, 8 of which were intercepted, towards a base in Jordan.
‣ Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz was completely halted.
2. Casualties:
‣ During the past 48 hours:
◦ 14 killed and 78 wounded.
Lebanon
1. Events:
‣ Drone strike on Jabal Ali al-Taher.
‣ Artillery fire on Deir Seryan.
‣ Homes demolished and detonated in Haddatha, Hula, Kounine, Tayri, Taybeh, and two tunnels in Majdal Zoun.
‣ Stun grenades dropped on Al Mansouri.
‣ Machine gun fire in Beit Yahoun, Saaideh, and Baraachit.
