Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin (continued), EAl-Bireh, Dura, Jericho, Beit Kahil, Umm Safa, Al Shuyukh, Silat al-Harithiya, Al-Yamun, Nablus, Al Ein refugee camp, Tarqumiyah, Idna. During the day they raided Madama, Abu Dis, as-Samu, Salem, Artas, Bethlehem, Azzun, Al-Ram, Ya'bad, Arranah, Faqqua, Jalbun, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Silwan, Ein Al Sultan refugee camp. At least 16 Palestinians were arrested, a woman among them.
Clashes and army attacks against Palestinians
1. Jenin – continued raid that began yesterday and lasted 24 hours. Continued destruction of infrastructures that had begun renovations since the last raid. Israeli army claims a tunnel opening was found leading to the Separation Wall.
2. Umm Safa, west of Ramallah – night raid, apartment, shop and printing press owned by a detainee (arrested on September 14th) were exploded.
3. Al Ein refugee camp, west of Nablus – night raid on house. Dog shot dead, its owner wounded and arrested.
4. Dura, south-west of Hebron – Night raid lasting all day. About 40 houses were raided and searched. Memorial destroyed, Palestine flags there were burnt. Confrontations. 3 persons wounded by live fire.
9. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – raid and confrontations. Earlier firecrackers were hurled at force in entrance to the camp.
10. Arranah, north-east of Jenin – raid and confrontations. One person wounded by live fire at his belly.
11. Al Khader, south of Bethlehem - soldiers attacked a villager selling coffee at town entrance, beat him up and he was hurried to hospital. They destroyed the stand. Then raided the town firing teargas and stun grenades. Suffocations.
