Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (207th consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (201st consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (188th consecutive day), Hebron, Balata refugee camp, New Askar refugee camp, Jericho, Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya, Barta'a, as-Samu, Silwad, Al-Bireh. During the day they raided Anabta, Dura, Hizma, Artas, Aqabah, ad-Dhahiriya, Jifna, Beit Liqya, Beita, Khallet Al Louza, Huwara, Bruqin. At least 29 Palestinians were arrested, most of them in Barta'a and released a few hours later. At Issawiya a Palestinian was arrested last night, the forces claimed he had a gun.


Army attacks against Palestinians

1. Jenin – shots fired at Jabariyat neighborhood, near the refugee camp.

2. Nablus – confrontations in the eastern part of town during the colonist invasion of Joseph’s Tomb that began near midnight. Suffocations.


Demolitions

1. Khallet Al Louza, south-east of Bethlehem – house demolished.

2. Artas, south of Bethlehem – house demolished.

3. ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron – 7 wells sealed with concrete, pumping equipment confiscated.

4. Aqabah, east of Tubas – a school under construction demolished.


5. Tayasir, east of Tubas – a water tank demolished, equipment confiscated.

6. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem – raid of a family home as preparations were made for the son’s wedding planned for that evening.


They have an hour to evacuate their property before the house is demolished. Teargas fired, stun grenades thrown, suffocations.


7. Sur Baher, south-east Jerusalem – an inhabitant forced to demolish his own home.


Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem – stones thrown.

2. Huwara, south of Nablus – stones thrown.

3. Sebastia, north-west of Nablus – 2 incendiary bombs thrown at a bus.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians

1. Ras Al Ein, north of Jericho – colonists invade the community compound with their flock.

2. Umm al-Khair, Masafer Yatta – water pipe vandalized and water supply to the community stopped. 60 women still on a hunger strike, demanding the return of Odeh Hathalin’s body.


3. Qawawis, Masafer Yatta – flocks grazed inside community territory.

4. Deir Ballut, west of Salfit – inhabitants confront assailant colonists. Palestinians wounded.


5. Aqraba, south-east of Nablus – bulldozer continues works on tended Palestinian fields.
