Tuesday, December 31, 2024 – The Gaza Strip

‣ Daily report of persons killed by Palestinian Ministry of Health not updated;

‣ Stormy weather tonight too caused sweeping and flooding of tents, especially in Deir al-Balah and Al Mawasi-Khan Yunis. Nasser Hospital in town was flooded;

‣ Several ill and wounded children were evacuated for medical treatment outside the Gaza Strip, in coordination with the World Health Organization.

Attacks against Israel

1. Rocket fired from Khan Yunis, alarm siren in Mivtahim, Ami'oz and Yesha, intercepted;

2. 2 rockets fired and alarm siren in Ma'agalim, Giv'olim, Shibolim and Netivot. One rocket intercepted, the other fell in open area.

Northern Strip

1. Beit Hanoun – artillery fire during the night.

2. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

‣ House bombed in Jabalia Al Balad;

‣ Bombing of Jabalia Al Balad, wounded persons;

‣ Residences bombed west of camp;

‣ Bombing of Nazla Jabalia, one person killed.

3. Beit Lahia – artillery fire during the night.

4. Gaza City:

‣ Artillery fire at Al Sabra and Al Zeitoun;

‣ House bombed in western part of town.

Exhausted and broken

Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp:

‣ Artillery fire from the west;

‣ Shelling from the sea;

‣ Machine-gun fire from the north.

Southern Strip

1. Khan Yunis – artillery and machine-gun fire east of town, wounded persons.
