Raids and arrests
During the night, Israeli forces raided Tulkarm and its refugee camps, Husan, Hebron, Udala, Kafr Qaddum, Deir Abu Mash’al, the new Askar refugee camp, Azmut, Al Bireh, Jinsafut, Al Arroub refugee camp, Azzun, Beit Ummar. During the day they raided Jericho (twice), Umm Safa, Shu'afat refugee camp, Anbata, Sebastia, Ni’lin, Turmus Aya, Beita, Yatma, Halhul, Al Mughayyir. 18 persons were arrested, among them a woman-student at Birzeit and a 14-year-old minor.
‣ Journalist Muaz Amarneh is released after 9 months in custody.
‣ Moazaz Abiyat is released, too, after an administrative detention of 8 months.
‣ Both report harsh conditions, abuse and violence.
Clashes
1. Tulkarm city and Nur Shams and Tulkarm refugee camps - sometime after midnight, for 17 hours Israeli forces raided the city and its refugee camps.
They imposed curfew on central neighborhoods in town and on the camps, besieged the two hospitals, spread out snipers, detained journalists and confiscated their IDs.
They interfered with internet reception, fired live bullets indiscriminately and damaged the transformer that supplies electricity to the Nur Shams refugee camp.
Confrontations ensued including fire exchange and improvised explosive charges.
5 bulldozers destroyed infrastructures to a much broader degree than before, including house demolitions, public parks, roundabouts. No casualties reported.
2. The new Askar refugee camp, east of Nablus - night raid on the camp and houses. Confrontations. One person wounded by live fire and another 3 children (9, 10, and 13-years-old) were wounded by shrapnel in the head. The raid lasted all night.
3. Umm Safa, north of Ramallah - bulldozers began digging lands on AL Ras Mountain. 200 dunams that were restored lately and planted with trees. Confrontations ensued while works took place. The forces sequester a house at village center and turn it into a military post.
4. Jericho - a money changer’s shop raided, money and security cameras confiscated. The soldiers threw teargas and stun grenades at journalists.
5. Deir Abu Mash’al, north-west of Ramallah - raid and live afire. A 13-year-old shot to death.
6. Yatma, south of Nablus - military force fired rubber-coated bullets and teargas. Suffocations.
7. Ya'bad south-west of Jenin - raid during which explosive charges were used against military vehicles.
8. Halhul, north of Hebron - soldiers beat up an inhabitant and wound him. He was hurried to hospital, suffering from bruises and lesions.
9. Al Mughayyir, north-east of Ramallah - village raided, teargas and live fire used.
10. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - confrontations during a raid. Two persons arrested, a 14-year-old among them.
11. Hebron - soldiers forced Old City inhabitants block passage to their homes with barbed wire, and beat up some of them.
Attacks against the army
1. Nablus - 2 shootings at the military post on Gerizim Mountain, south of town.
Demolitions and confiscations
1. Beita and Qabalan, south of Nablus - the State of Israel announces that 65 dunams of Jabal Sabih are state lands, confiscated to establish Eviatar outpost and secure it.
2. Shu’afat refugee camp., north-east Jerusalem - demolition order issued for a residential building containing 5 apartments.
3. Furush Beit Dajan, east of Nablus - house demolished.
4. Jabel Mukaber, south-east Jerusalem - a resident was forced to demolish his own home.
Colonist attacks
1. Turmus Aya, north-east of Ramallah - colonists set fire to a farm structure and spray hate inscriptions.
2. Al Janiya, west of Ramallah - colonists set fire to lands.
3. Artas, south of Bethlehem - new colonist outpost.
4. Umm Al Khair, Masafer Yatta - colonists vandalize water pipes as soldiers secure the vandals.
5. Shab Al Butm, Masafer Yatta - on the morrow of house demolitions, a colonist and his flock come back to vandalize tended fields. A soldier accompanies the colonist.
