General

1. Only 200 trucks carrying goods and aid entered the Gaza Strip yesterday, out of the 600 trucks that were supposed to enter.

2. UNRWA reports a severe shortage of essential medications needed to treat skin infections suffered by many residents due to contact with rodents and insects. Only around 40% of cases are actually being treated.

3. The detention of Sumud flotilla activists Thiago Ávila of Brazil and Saif Abu Keshek of Spain was extended by 6 days.

4. A resident of the Strip launched an initiative to restore copies of the Quran found beneath the rubble of mosques and homes destroyed across the Strip.

Gaza City

1. North:

‣ UAV strike on a police point at Al-Uyun Junction on Al-Jalaa Street, killing one and critically injuring another.


2. East:

‣ Residential homes destroyed using explosives.

3. South:

‣ One killed and several injured in artillery fire on Al Zeitoun.

4. West:

‣ Airstrike on the police station in Sheikh Radwan. One killed (a minor) and 5 injured.


Khan Yunis District

1. East:

‣ Machine-gun fire;

‣ Drone strike near Abu Hamid Square.

2. City center:

‣ The oxygen production facility at Al Nasser Hospital is at risk of shutting down due to frequent malfunctions, overloading and long operating hours.
