Tuesday, September 24, 2024 – The West Bank

Raids and arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al, Idna, Madama, Qatanna, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Beit Ummar, Nablus, Al-Yamun, Azzun, Old Askar refugee camp, Tammun, Al-Bireh, Ramallah. During the day they raided Tura al-Gharbiya, Hares, Qarawat Bani Hassan, Shuafat refugee camp, Atuf, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Kafr Qallil, Tell, Dura. At least 29 Palestinians were arrested, a woman among them.

Clashes and army attacks against Palestinians

1. Tammun, south of Tubas – night raid and confrontations. Night raid

2. Al-Yamun, west of Jenin – night raid and confrontations.

3. Azzun, east of Qalqilya – raid and confrontations. A physician was badly wounded by live fire. A woman was arrested.

4. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – raid and confrontations. 2 persons wounded by live fire.

5. Tell, south-west of Nablus – raid and confrontations.


Demolitions

1. Tura al-Gharbiya, west of Jenin – house demolished, demolition orders for another 13 houses.




Palestinian attacks against colonists

1. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – stones thrown at vehicles.

2. Karme Tsur colony, north of Hebron – incendiary bombs thrown at colony.


Colonist attacks against Palestinians



1. Yasuf, south-east of Nablus – stones thrown and fields set on fire.

2. Khirbet Tell el Himma area, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – shepherds chased away and attacked.



3. Um Fagarah and Th’ale, Masafer Yatta – sheep carcasses thrown inside the communities. Unclear whether as threats or infecting living healthy sheep.

4. Anizan, Masafer Yatta – families leave the community due to pressure of colonist violence backed up by army and police.



5. al-Karmil, Masafer Yatta – house attacked, property vandalized and trees uprooted.

6. Farsiyeh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley – vandalizing property of the community that left.



7. Qaryut, south of Nablus – colonist bulldozer work around Khirbet Sara, probably laying infrastructure to expand colony.
