Journalists covering the ruins in Nablus are being shot at
‣ 7 days of raid in the northern West Bank, 34 persons killed, 130 persons wounded. Since October 7, 2023 – 685 persons killed, 5,700 persons wounded.
Raids and arrests
‣ Director of prisons announces the cancellation of attorney visits of detainees with the claim of spreading dermatitis.
‣ During the night, Israeli forces raided Idna, Tulkarm city and refugee camp (for the second day), Jenin city and refugee camp (for the seventh day), Husan, Qalqilya, Udala, Salem, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Birzeit, Burqa, Sa’ir, Azzun, Tuqu’a, Beit Fajjar, Balata refugee camp, Al Shahada. During the day, they raided Tell, Shu’afat refugee camp, Biddu, Qatanna, Al-Aizariya, Silwad, Birin, Beit Ummar, Duma, ad-Dhahiriya, Nablus, Nabi Salah, ‘Anabta, Habla, Qalqilya (for the second time). At least 29 Palestinians arrested, a minor among them.
Clashes and Israeli army attacks against Palestinians
1. Idna, west of Nablus – raid of home of perpetrator of the terrorist attack in Tarqumiyah. Measurements and anti-tank missile fired at house.
2. Tulkarm city and refugee camp – raid continued, siege of the city tightens. Snipers situated on roof tops. Sniper shoots a 15-year-old in the head, kills him and wounds his father who stood nearby.
Drones fly low. Surrounding a house in Izbat Jared suburb in the east by stun grenades. House interrogations without arrests. Live fire in all directions.
Bulldozers damage water, communication and electricity infrastructures, demolition of shops and a bakery. An Israeli soldier wounded.
3. Husan – night raid and confrontations.
4. Jenin city and refugee camp – for the seventh day, continued destruction of infrastructures in city center and near the hospitals. Shots fired at a group of journalists, woundings. 3 persons wounded by live fire.
5. Biddu, Qatanna, north-west of Jerusalem – raids of shops and vandalism of their contents.
6. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – night raid with live fire.
7. Qalqilya – night raid, confrontations and arrests. One person wounded by live fire. During the day, another raid. Confrontations, 2 persons wounded by live fire, one of them 13-years-old.
8. Birzeit, north of Ramallah – raid of the offices of the students association on the university campus and confiscation of property.
9. Al Shahada, south of Jenin – night raid and house surrounded. Confrontations.
10. Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus – raid and confrontations.
Kafr Dan
11. Kafr Dan, west of Jenin – raid and house surrounded near the girls’ school. Its inhabitants were demanded to give themselves up. Anti-tank missiles fired at the house. Confrontations. 16-year-old girl shot, ambulance access was prevented for an hour and a half and she bled to death. Another person wounded. Journalists shot, 2 wounded.
12. Danaba, east of Tulkarm – house surrounded, anti-tank missiles at house and vehicle. 2 persons killed. Their bodies were taken by the army. Confrontations.
13. Shu’afat refugee camp, north-east Jerusalem – raid with live fire and teargas. Searches in shops, beatings and surveillance cameras installed at junctions. One person wounded by live fire.
14. Burqin, west of Jenin - Jenin infrastructure destruction expanded toward the road leading to the town. Destruction inside the town too. Checkpoints erected on the road. Confrontations.
15. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – raid and confrontations.
16. ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron – Palestinians detained in the football stadium. Confrontations. 2 persons wounded by live fire, a 7-year-old among them (!).
Demolitions
