General

1. The Israeli Civil Administration in the West Bank approved the outline plan for the reestablished colony of Sa-Nur, under which 126 permanent housing units will be built.


Killed

1. Ibrahim Abd al-Khayyat, 16, Hebron.

2. Abd al-Halim Ruhi Hammad, 37, Silwad.


Raids and Arrests

Jenin refugee camp and town (472nd consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (466th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (452nd consecutive day);

‣ During the night, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya, Beit Ummar, Nablus, Shuafat refugee camp, Al-Arroub refugee camp, Silwad, Balata refugee camp, Kafr Qaddum, Anata, Iktaba (Tulkarm), Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, Deir Jarir, Kobar, Al Fawwar refugee camp. During the day, they raided Deir Ibzi, Deir al-Ghusun, Dura, Hebron, Maghayir al 'Abeed, Al-Yamun, Ramallah, Burqa, Beita, Madama, Sa'ir, Khirbat 'Abu Falah, Al-Ram, Jifna, Azzun. At least 17 were arrested, including a female student.



Army Attacks on Palestinians

1. Qabatiya, south of Jenin – During the night, Israeli forces raided homes in the town, carried out widespread detentions and field interrogations. All detainees were released except for a former prisoner and his mother, who were arrested. The forces withdrew in the morning.


2. Hebron – Clashes at several locations in the city, one killed and two injured by live fire.

3. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – Raid on several homes, 7 residents arrested.

4. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – Clashes. An improvised explosive device was thrown at a military vehicle.

5. Al-Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron – Clashes, stun grenades and teargas.

6. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron – Raid, a house turned into a military post and forces deployed on the roof.

7. Deir al-Ghusun, north of Tulkarm – Raid and searches in several homes.

8. Al-Ram, north of Jerusalem – One injured by live fire near the Separation Wall.

9. Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, south of Jericho – Night raid on a house.

10. Maghayir al 'Abeed, Masafer Yatta – Raid following a complaint by colonists about livestock theft (a recurring pretext for such raids). Beatings, severe violence and arrests.


11. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – Night raid on a house, during which two Israeli soldiers were injured by stabbing by a family member (see Palestinian attacks on the army below). Clashes followed the killing. A general strike was declared in the town.

12. Madama, south of Nablus – Raid, live fire, forcing business owners and shops to close.


Palestinian Attacks on the Army

1. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – An improvised explosive device was thrown at a military vehicle.


2. Silwad, north-east of Ramallah – Two Israeli soldiers were stabbed and injured during a raid on the home of the family of Muhammad Ruhi Hammad, who was killed 5 years ago in a stabbing attack. The soldiers conducted a violent search, including destruction of property, and one of the family members – the brother of the attacker who was killed – stabbed the soldiers. The forces opened fire, killed the attacker and seized his body. His father and brother were arrested.



Demolitions and Blockages

1. Al-Yamun, west of Jenin – Agricultural land destroyed using bulldozers.

2. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron – Demolition of an agricultural structure north of the town.


3. Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron – Demolition of a water well.


4. Ramallah – Checkpoints around the city closed following the events in Silwad (see Palestinian attacks on the army above).

5. Burqa, north-west of Nablus – Continued uprooting of ancient olive trees at the entrance to the village.


6. Beita, south of Nablus – Vehicle confiscation.


Colonists Attacks on Palestinians

1. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – Colonists chased a calf belonging to a resident of Al Shuyukh, ran it over, slaughtered it and then threw its body east of the town.

2. Qawawis, Masafer Yatta – Grazing on a wheat field.


3. Sinjil, north-east of Ramallah – Agricultural land destroyed using bulldozers.

4. Between Salem and Beit Furik, east of Nablus – Colonists raised a flag on Jabal al-Najmi between the towns.


5. Jalud, south-east of Nablus – Blocking of an access road to a house.

6. Between Beita and Awarta, south of Nablus – New outpost established.


7. Between Qabalan and Usarin, south of Nablus – Expansion of an outpost.
