Wednesday, January 1, 2025 – The Gaza Strip

Since noon, December 30th until the night of December 31, 2024:

‣ 12 killed and 41 wounded persons brought to hospital, NOT including the persons killed on January 1st;


‣ Since October 7, 2023:

◦ 45,553 persons killed;

◦ 108,379 persons wounded.

‣ 1,542 displaced persons tents swept away or flooded in stormy weather.


Northern Strip

1. Jabalia refugee camp and town:

‣ Aerial bombing of Jabalia Al Balad during the night, 15 persons killed including many children;



‣ Houses in the camp exploded;

‣ Drone bombs Jabalia Al Balad, 2 persons killed.



‣ Houses exploded;

‣ Drone fire;

‣ Aerial bombing and artillery fire around Kamal Adwan Hospital.

3. Beit Hanoun – artillery fire.

4. Gaza City:

‣ Drone fire at Sheikh Radwan;

‣ 2 houses in Shuja'iya bombed, 8 persons killed;

‣ House bombed near church at Al Zeitoun;

‣ Farmland bombed at Shuja'iya;

‣ Houses exploded at Al Zeitoun.


Central Strip

1. Nuseirat refugee camp – artillery fire north-west of camp.

2. Al Bureij refugee camp:

‣ House bombed during the night, 2 persons killed, one of them a child;



‣ Heavy artillery fire during night;

‣ Aerial bombing during the night;

‣ Artillery fire around the mosque.


Southern Strip

‣ Night artillery fire at Al Fukhari (east);

‣ Al Jazeera reporter’s house bombed during the night, wounded persons’

‣ Drones bomb south-east of town, 4 persons killed.

2. Rafah – aerial bombing of Al Mawasi.
