General

1. The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reports systematic neglect of medical treatment, prevention of periodic check-ups, prevention of basic needs such as clothing and blankets, and long periods prevention of yard breaks in Gilboa and Ofer prisons, and in "Damon" prison, where women are jailed.



Killed

1. Qusai Maher Halaika, 28, Al Shuyukh.


Raids and Arrests

During the night, Israeli forces raided Jenin refugee camp and town (381st consecutive day), Tulkarm refugee camp and town (375th consecutive day), Nur Shams refugee camp (361st consecutive day), Hizma, Qabatiya, Immatain, Madama, Burin, Al Fawwar refugee camp, Deir Jarir, Aqabah, Jericho, Idna, Bethlehem. During the day, they raided Dura, Issawiya, Al Khader, Beit Ummar, Huwara, Sa'ir, Al Shuyukh, Hebron, Bani Na'im, Azzun, Ni'lin, Tammun, Baqa ash-Sharqiyya. About 130 people were detained for field interrogations, including 2 women and a child. At least 30 were arrested, including a pregnant woman and a minor.



Army attacks on Palestinians

1. Qabatiya, south of Jenin - raid, stun grenades.

2. Beit Ummar, north of Hebron - military forces detained workers who were paving a road and confiscated tools and equipment.


3. Sa'ir, north of Hebron – clashes, live fire. A woman was injured when a military vehicle collided with her car.

4. Al Shuyukh, north of Hebron - raid on the home of Qusay Maher Halaika, who was killed at the Tunnels Checkpoint (see report in Palestinian attacks on the army below). Clashes. The army arrests three of the slain man's brothers and two other young men, and forces shopkeepers and businesses to close.


5. Dura, south of Hebron - local sources claim that soldiers forced a young Palestinian to strip naked and beat him.

6. Al Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron - raid, detentions and field interrogations. Clashes in the evening, live fire.


7. Aqabah, north of Tubas - raid, turning a house into a military post. Detentions, field interrogations and arrests.

8. Tulkarm - a live fire break-in at a house near Thabet Thabet Hospital. 2 injured minors, a brother and sister, were evacuated to the hospital. The brother was arrested.

9. Tulkarm refugee camp - Israeli flags were raised at some of the entrances to the camp.


10. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem - raid on houses, field interrogations, searches and arrests. Among those arrested was a pregnant woman. Heavy traffic congestion in north-east Jerusalem following military activity in the town.


11. Immatain, east of Qalqilya - raid, detentions, field interrogations and arrests.

12. Ni'lin, west of Ramallah - clashes.

13. Madama, south of Nablus - raid, dozens detained for field interrogations and released. An ex-prisoner was arrested again.



Palestinian attacks on the army

1. Tunnels Checkpoint, south of Jerusalem - A 28-year-old Palestinian from the town of Al Shuyukh, north of Hebron, was shot and killed. The army claims he attempted to carry out a stabbing attack, and is holding his body.



Demolitions, confiscations and blockades

1. Al Khader, south of Bethlehem - demolition of two residential buildings.


2. Hebron - demolition of garages in the south side of the city.

3. Dura, south of Hebron - demolition of an agricultural shed.

4. Qalandia and Shuafat refugee camps, Jerusalem - power supply to UNRWA facilities and institutions in both camps has been cut off.


5. Hizma, north-east of Jerusalem - the army is closing the entrances to the town.

6. Sur Baher, south of Jerusalem - new construction of housing units in Jabal Abu Ghanim on Palestinian land.

7. Al Funduq, east of Qalqilya - the army is forcing a Palestinian to demolish an agricultural facility. Two months ago, the same Palestinian was also forced to demolish his own home.

8. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah - The army is closing the entrance.



Palestinian attacks on colonists

1. Geva Binyamin colony, north-east of Jerusalem - stones thrown on a bus on the road between the colony and Hizma.


Colonist attacks on Palestinians

1. Hammamat al Maleh, northern Palestinian Jordan Valley - harassment, intimidation and provocations.


2. Raba, south-east of Jenin - harassment, intimidation and provocations.

3. Jerusalem, Armenian Quarter - colonist spits on a priest.


4. Mukhmas, Khallet al-Sadra community, north-east of Jerusalem - colonists set homes on fire.


5. Between Rammun and Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah - harassment, intimidation and provocations.

6. Turmus Ayya, north-east of Ramallah - colonists uprooted about 200 olive trees.


7. Qusra and Jalud, south-east of Nablus - seventh day of clashes between villagers and colonists and soldiers from the new outpost in the Ras al-Ain area.
